Job Summary

HDI Global SE Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to support the management and development of the Engineering Line of Business.

You will be responsible for underwriting a broad range of engineering risks, including project business, Completed Engineering Civil Risks (CECRs), and operational renewable energy risks, while ensuring profitable growth, underwriting discipline, and compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements. The role also involves supporting portfolio management, business development, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite engineering risks across project and operational phases, including CECRs and renewable energy risks, in accordance with underwriting guidelines and authority limits

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Engineering or a related field

Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in Engineering or specialty lines underwriting

Possesses or is working towards a recognised insurance qualification (e.g. ACII, AAII, ANZIIF, SCI)

Strong knowledge of engineering insurance risks, including project and operational exposures

Demonstrated underwriting, analytical, and portfolio management capabilities

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on in Construction field and will play a critical role in project cost estimation, tender processes, and materials sourcing management. This position demands expertise in equipment and materials sourcing, cost estimation and management, effective vendor coordination, and material control to support the successful execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Procurement and Control

• Oversee the full range of procurement activities.
• Identify, assess and establish strong relationships with potential suppliers, contractors and other vendors.
• Negotiate key commercial terms such as pricing, payment schedules, and delivery timelines with vendors. Continuously monitor and evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
• Assist in the procurement process, generating, validating, and updating Purchase Orders in alignment with project and company requirements.
• Involve in vendor selection and negotiate prices and delivery lead time with vendors/contractors.
• Enter and maintain accurate data in procurement systems and tools.

• In charge of the vehicle movement and parking

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Responsibilities

• Handle the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR) functions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, while reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

• Experience with Certificate of Origin application process with Chamber will be an advantage.

• Experience with using SAP Business One will be an advantage

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations and efficient workflows.

• Maintain positive working relationships with clients and vendors, responding to financial queries in a professional manner.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations, and assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc projects and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.

• At least 2 years of relevant commercial accounting experience

Job Responsibilities :

• Check and coordinate the shop drawings produced by drafting team as well as sub-contractors
• Attend technical meeting with Consultants, to monitor approval of shop drawings from Consultants
• Prepare and monitor RFA/RFI/RAM issued
• Liaise with Sub-contractors on technical issues for timely approval of shop drawings
