Job Description 

We are looking for a Junior to Mid-Level Machine Learning Engineer to join our Model Engineering Team. This role is intended for engineers who view models as systems to be understood, developed, and improved rather than simply consumed as black-box components.

You will contribute across the full model lifecycle, from dataset preparation and architecture development to training, evaluation, and optimisation. Working closely with experienced engineers, you will improve model performance through experimentation, data-centric approaches, and systematic analysis, helping to build robust and efficient computer vision systems for real-world applications.

What You’ll Do: 

• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate computer vision models for tasks such as classification, object detection, segmentation, pose estimation, and action recognition.
• Contribute to model development through architecture enhancements, custom heads, loss functions, and training strategy optimisation.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate model improvements and performance trade-offs.
• Prototype, benchmark, and assess new architectures, techniques, and approaches against established baselines.
• Investigate edge cases and performance limitations, and improve model accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.
• Consider practical constraints such as latency, throughput, resource efficiency, and hardware-specific optimisation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve dataset quality, model performance, and system reliability.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience training, fine-tuning, and evaluating computer vision models through academic, project, internship, or professional work.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools.

Bonus Skills 

• Experience modifying models beyond high-level APIs (e.g. custom heads, backbone modifications, loss functions, or training pipelines).
• Exposure to multimodal, vision-language, foundation, or open-vocabulary models.
• Experience with optimisation techniques such as quantisation, pruning, distillation.
• Familiarity with experiment tracking, reproducibility, or MLOps practices.

Personal Competencies 

• Strong interest in understanding how model architectures, data quality, and training strategies influence performance.
• Enjoy experimentation, performance analysis, and iterative model improvement.
• Eager to take ownership of model components and grow into increasingly complex model development responsibilities.

Note: Due to the nature of the role, the position is considered only for candidates who are already based in Singapore.

Job Summary

You will assemble and test electrical components, manage inventory and shipments, coordinate with vendors, and maintain warehouse operations to support efficient production and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and perform wiring tasks to build and test electrical products ensuring quality standards.
• Handle materials and pack finished goods accurately for local and overseas shipments.
• Procure and collect parts and supplies from vendors to maintain production flow.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods, organize them into assigned bins, and update inventory systems.
• Issue parts from inventory system for assembly according to customer requirements.
• Prepare picking lists and shipping documents for outbound orders.
• Maintain accurate stock records by inputting data and conducting monthly stock takes.
• Coordinate with local and overseas vendors, expediters, customs agents, forwarders, and shipping companies to manage imports, exports, and local orders.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized, ensuring tools are replenished and machines maintained.
• Deliver goods to customers and collect supplies from vendors as needed.
• Perform ad-hoc assignments to support operational needs.

Required competencies and certifications

• Have technical/engineering educational background with relevant work experiences
• Possess Class 3 driving license to operate company van.
• Demonstrate ability to converse, read, and write in English and Chinese to liaise effectively with Chinese associates.

JobDescription
.Carry out electrical installation works for commercial, industrial, andbuilding projects, including:

·Cablelaying and termination

·Installationof conduits, trunking, and cable trays

·Installationof distribution boards (DBs), isolators, switches, sockets, and lighting points

·Read andinterpret construction and electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, andlayout plans to execute work accurately.

·Prepare,route, and secure cables according to drawings and site conditions, ensuringneat workmanship and safety compliance.
Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and rectification ofelectrical systems as required.

·Ensureall works comply with Singapore electrical standards and relevant Codes ofPractice.

·Coordinatewith site supervisors, engineers, and other trades to ensure timely projectcompletion.

·Adherestrictly to site safety regulations and company safety procedures at all times.

·Demonstrate good practical skills in cable routing, termination, and installation of electrical fixtures and accessories.

·Coordinate with the Project Manager on daily planning and project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time

Requirements
·Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in electrical installation work forconstruction or renovation projects.

·Candidatesshould possess at least an ITE qualification.

·Willing and able to work overtime and at various project sites as required.

·Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
