WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the IPT maintenance and utility operation activities, but also other areas of the site if required.

• Operates the facility, utility, and HVAC system in the manufacturing and facility areas.   
• Supports the equipment calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities of corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures compliance in terms of the cGMP, GDP, Data Integrity, and safety & environment while performing the maintenance and operation activities.

Manufacturing Excellence

Operation and Maintenance

• To support day-to-day shift activities, including planned and unplanned/ emergency troubleshooting, and effectively hand over the shift with proper communication. Escalation of the issues to supervisor, engineer, or maintenance manager.
• To provide technical support/assistance including fault diagnosis in close coordination with the maintenance team, process team, and external vendor(s) to enable the process equipment to maximize their operation. Initiates a follow-up corrective action to ensure continued safe and reliable plant operation.
• Follow standard work instructions as per preventive and corrective maintenance job plan, forms and checklist.
• Ensure equipment breakdown(s) is resolved in an effective and timely manner.
• Ensures to carry out all maintenance tasks as per the quality and safety requirements.
• Ensures maintenance work areas are met the housekeeping,5S standards, fundamental SHE requirements (protects people, and company assets), and supports solutions to improve asset utilization.

• Ensures the presence of safety risk assessment and follows its instructions while performing a maintenance task.
• Perform/Support the shop floor real-time problem solving (RTPS) and come up with effective CAPA to prevent the reoccurrence of events.    

Site Equipment Contract Services

• Supports execution of all the Pharm plant equipment reliability and maintenance (R&M) service contracts, including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, HVAC, and Facility maintenance
• Executes maintenance activities with vendors, contractors.

Change Control

• Participates in ECC field walk-down, including as-built P&IDs and HAZOP reviews,and completes the required action items associated with them.

SOP, Documentation, and Training

• Ensure 100% training completion based on the required training program.
• Supporthe development and revision of the maintenance operation Job Aids and Job plans.
• Support the continuous improvement, simplification, and optimization of documentation.
• Support the conducting job training for new technicians as and when required.  

The incident, Event, Deviation, Atypical, and OOT Investigations

• Ensures all equipment OOT findings are documented appropriately and support an investigation.

Continuous Improvements

• Involves Lean Six Sigma Tools (such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, SMED, and 5S) to support execution of continuous improvement and OE projects intended to increase agility, flow, and throughput, while also reducing cycle time and inventory.

Financial Stewardship

• Undertakes activities to support the realization of production, cost-effectiveness, and product cost reduction targets set in the Profit Plan, with particular emphasis on spare parts and consumables inventory and cost and reducing waste.
• Support maintenance cost optimization programs, including spare parts inventory levels, and equipment breakdown
  Quality / SHE Stewardship

Quality

• Ensures all planned and unplanned maintenance activities are completed according to established procedures and all associated documentation is completed to a high standard and compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
• Implements assigned corrective actions as documented following regulatory inspections and internal audits
• Participates in internal and external audits for any maintenance activities.
• Supports all assigned deviation, event, atypical, and customer complaint investigations and ensures any assigned actions are effectively implemented within the agreed time frame in a way that continually improves processes, prevents waste, and eliminates rework

Safety, Health & Environment

• Ensures that all daily activities are carried out by SHE requirements

Qualification:

Job Overview
Responsible for carrying out both preventive and corrective maintenance for facilities and equipment, including upgrading, retrofitting, troubleshooting, and repair of Mechanical, electrical, and air-conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

Maintain tunnel washer, washer extractor and dryers to keep laundry machinary and equipment in operational condition.

Troubleshoot and repair inoperative machines.

Provide support and assistance by responding appropriately to repair situations, assessing the problem, and taking the appropriate action.

Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of machine ductwork and related equipment.

Maintain an inventory of tools and supplies necessary for the completion of repairs, and keep tools in good condition.

Requirements

Minimum NITEC in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

General mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting abilities.

About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Building Technician to support the maintenance and upkeep of our properties located in Chinatown, Boat Quay and Bugis. The role involves carrying out general repair works and ensuring all facilities are in good working condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:

Main Tasks:

• Perform general maintenance works including painting, minor repairs and replacement of bulbs
• Carry out basic plumbing and electrical works
• Troubleshoot and rectify issues such as ceiling leaks and faulty appliances (e.g. washing machines, microwaves, safes)
• Perform basic carpentry works, including repair of doors, handles, hinges and furniture
• Maintain and repair bathroom fixtures (e.g. faucets, showers, toilets, drainage systems)
• Ensure proper functioning of fire safety systems such as smoke detectors

Supporting Tasks:

• Assist in air-conditioning cleaning and basic maintenance works

Requirements:

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual maintenance work
• Able to walk between locations and handle a fast-paced workload during peak periods
• Responsible and hands-on with a positive work attitude

Work Schedule:

• 6 days work week
• Monday to Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• No overtime required

Salary & Benefits:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for the management and maintenance of laboratory equipment, oversight of laboratory inventory, coordination of chemical procurement and related administrative activities, and support of research, development, quality control, and diagnostic operations incompliance with established procedures and regulatory requirements. Key job responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, instruments and supplies for experiments

• Assist and support chemists and engineers with experimental work

• Prepare samples, reagents and standards needed for analysis

• Maintain healthy stock levels of laboratory inventory such as chemicals and consumables for smooth operation through regular stock-taking

• Liaise with suppliers for procurement of lab chemicals, consumables and equipments

• Calibration, verification and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment

• Ensure laboratory cleanliness and organization

• Data entry and preparation of lab reports

• Work with finance to ensure proper documentation of purchases, deliveries and inventories stock count.

• Any other appropriate duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or related fields are welcome to apply.
• Candidate should possess strong academic background in chemistry coursework

• Candidate should be proficient in standard laboratory techniques, including handling chemicals, preparing solutions, conducting experiments.

• Experience with analytical instruments such as spectrometers and titration equipment is preferred

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Biomedical Science / Biotechnology or equivalent

• Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical or laboratory setting

• Comfortable working in a patient-facing environment, including paediatric cases

• Good communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

• Proficient in basic computer applications

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
