Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and electric material handling equipment

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic faults

Service engines, motors, batteries, chargers, brakes, steering, and lifting systems

Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and fault codes

Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment complies with workplace safety standards

Replace defective parts and test equipment after repair

Maintain service records and job reports

Support breakdown calls and on-site repairs when needed

Requirements

Experience with diesel engines and electric-powered material handling equipment

Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and battery systems

Ability to use diagnostic tools and basic workshop equipment

Understanding of safety procedures in warehouse or industrial environments

Technical certification in mechanical, automotive, heavy equipment, or related field is often preferred

Ability to work independently and troubleshoot efficiently

• Reporting to Maintenance Manager and work on rotational shift of 4 days with 1 day off. (Morning shift: 8:30am to 4:30pm | Afternoon shift: 3- 11pm)
• Perform basic building maintenance such as ACMV, Electrical & Plumbing and Sanitary works, etc
• Conduct inspection of common areas within the shopping centre and tenant’s premises when necessary 
• Record & update daily maintenance, Weekly & monthly inspection reports
• Inspect and identify defects such as power failure, leakage and aircon issues
• Inspect firefighting and protection equipment such as fire extinguishers & fire hose reels and Dry Risers
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works as directed by Supervisor
• Requisite necessary parts to carry out repairs and maintenance
• Practice workplace health & safety standards such as wearing personal protection accessories whenever needed
• Any other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Air Conditioning or equivalent
• Possess hands on knowledge on electrical, plumbing and Sanitary, building maintenance and/or ACMV experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in facilities/building maintenance in commercial building
• Pleasant personality and able to work as a team
• Good understanding of building maintenance and M&E systems
• Able to handle audio visual system
• Monthly salary + Monthly allowances (transport + handphone) + Completion Bonus + OT and other shift allowances

Job Description:

Waste Water Treatment Operation

• To carry out water sampling for process unit and send to lab for analysis and follow up with the recommendation in process.
• Operate Boiler / Evaporator / cooling tower / RO in the WasteWater Plant
• Control Panel operation through SCADA system to monitor and adjust process parameters.
• To update test result in data system
• To handle general workers in the plant for daily plant works and chemical handling
• To maintain all the process units/ pumps and equipment’s and instrument in good condition.
• Company Emergency Response team member
• To support shift ad-hoc operation

Slop Operation

• Manage incoming waste and communication with QC department.
• Oversee ISO Tank and Vacuum Truck.
• Monitor loading and unloading terminal processes.
• Manage jetty operation, including vessel berthing and marine loading.
• Manage and conduct oily water pre-treatment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and take corrective action as needed.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and replenish process oil.
• Manage tank to tank transfer and oil recovery process.
• Mange Dayshift operators.
• Monitor and supervise good housekeeping practice at SLOP plant.
• Daily task report to SLOP Superintendent and Supervisor.
• Undertake any other duties that may be assigned by the SLOP Supervisor / Superintendent from time to time.
• Support safety procedures and emergency response measures.

Requirement:

• NITEC / ITE / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years relevant experience.
• Basic English communication skills (reading & writing).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Other characteristics such as personal characteristics – Team player with interpersonal skills (gentle, considerate and patient)
• Certifications in Forklift, WAH/AWSHPP, or Boiler Attendant (Class 1/2) are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work at cell level to meet the production schedule.
• Assemble, disassemble, perform minor cleaning, inspect, troubleshoot, and test in accordance with Component Maintenance Manual.
• Promptly resolve issue and ensure all repair cost estimates are updated accurately.
• Work in close cooperation with supervisor and other support personnel to resolve problems as when necessary.
• Adhere to Quality Management System (e.g. AS9110C / Airworthiness Part 145 requirement)
• Understand the use of common measuring equipment like torque wrench, calipers, micrometers, bore and depth gauges.
• Complies with all Environment, Health & Safety policies, and regulations
• Complies with all US and Singapore Export Control Regulations
• Ensure full compliance to all required local regulations and corporate requirements, especially in the areas of Ethics, EHS and International Trade Compliance
• Actively participate in process improvement and environmental, health and safety activities.

Requirements

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics/ other Aerospace related courses)
• Personnel with passed in Air legislation CAAS/ EASA papers L12/ L11/ M10, or other industry related qualifications would have added advantage.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• To read and work from technical and service manuals, technical orders, sales orders, specification, drawings, and other written instructions.
• Computer literacy (Knowledge in SAP will be preferred).
• Good communication skills needed, both oral and written.
