Job Summary

The Production Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring daily manufacturing operations to ensure production schedules are met efficiently. This role acts as a key link between production, procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor daily production schedules to meet customer requirements and deadlines
• Liaise with production teams to ensure materials, manpower, and equipment are available and properly allocated
• Track production progress and resolve bottlenecks or delays in a timely manner
• Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation
• Assist in production planning, forecasting, and capacity analysis
• Coordinate with quality control to ensure products meet required standards
• Communicate with internal departments (sales, logistics, etc.) regarding order status and delivery timelines
• Support inventory monitoring to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and company procedures
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience in planning and coordination roles is preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
• Understanding of production processes and workflow
• Knowledge of inventory control and supply chain operations
• Ability to analyze production data and generate reports

Working Conditions

• Based in manufacturing plant environment
• May require shift work depending on production schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of the product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the go-to-market strategy
• Follow the product roadmap and weigh the cost of adjustments with changes in business imperatives
• Be the interface between business and technology, translate business needs and concepts to IT managers and developers, and manage business expectations in accordance to technological constraints
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including technology, operations, risk, legal and compliance to build, test and roll out products that deliver value to the business. Scope and prioritise activities based on business and customer impact
• Monitor the progress of the product from design to launch, and manage the project schedule, manpower resources and budget to ensure that project requirements, milestones and deliverables are met
• Create high-level test cases and detailed scripts within those test cases to allow effective systems testing
• Write detailed product requirements documents and user story
• Perform system verification and sign off
• Conduct market analysis and identify potential business opportunities based on industry and competitive trends
• Assist changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimise product performance

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance/Computer Science/Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) — required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking business and technology stakeholders across the organisation
• A highly collaborative individual who thrives in hands-on, fast-paced environments and can work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire new domain knowledge and apply it effectively across product or project contexts
• Strong project management and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and execute across multiple workstreams simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience bridging communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Proactive, self-driven work ethic with a track record of identifying gaps and taking initiative beyond assigned responsibilities
• Genuine interest in payment solutions e.g. e-wallets, cards, remittance, cash, or cryptocurrencies
