As a Senior Product Designer, you'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders to craft user experiences that balance innovation, feasibility, and impact. As a Senior Product Designer in the CX-Comms team, you will join a group of product designers, researchers and content writers who are defining the future of how people enjoy the Grab app from a platform level view. Based in Singapore, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, analysts and business teams in helping us define the Loyalty segment for our customers and enriching the program.

You will be reporting to the Senior Design Manager. The role will be fully onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Guide Product Design outcomes and set direction across teams; create complex, projects.
• Build the right solutions - addressing value, usability, feasibility and viability, and any necessary trade-offs with minimal waste, while safeguarding goals.
• Defend design decisions and convince senior partners.
• Guide collaboration across domains, functions and teams; facilitate their agreement and efficiencies by increasing discussions, workshops and exploration.
• Guide problem exploration, solution discovery and solution delivery across teams; display autonomy to work and navigate complexity independently.
• Develop problem-framing approaches, establishing new starting points that lead to new kinds of solutions, not just execution, across teams.
• Design simple solutions to complex problems; knit together multiple 'products' in an experience and unlocking new value.
• Produce visual design that elevates the quality, consistency, and credibility of user experiences.
• Use a variety of prototyping tools and methods to create interactive and realistic prototypes with complex functionality.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Provide a portfolio of your recent design work in English, showcasing your contribution and the impact of your projects. We recommend you provide clear context, outline your end-to-end workflow, and demonstrate how you go from problem discovery to launch.
• 4+ years of Product Design experience.
• Experience working on cross-functional product teams.
• Solid fundamentals in interaction and visual design craft and practice.
• Solid knowledge of mobile and front-end web standards and development.
• Experience with Figma, Protopie, After Effects, or other design tooling.
• Experience in Service Design, User Research, Front-end Development, Accessible Design or Design Systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end design across multiple complex product lines

• Own user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for Web, Mobile, and internal tools.
• Drive UX/UI modernization of legacy systems to enhance usability, clarity, and consistency.
• Translate complex product logic and workflows into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.

2. Build and evolve our Design System

• Create and maintain scalable design components, visual guidelines, and interaction patterns.
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure consistent implementation.
• Manage and apply Figma Tokens (color, typography, spacing, themes, components).
• Advocate for design consistency and maintain alignment across product teams.

3. Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Merchant Team

• Join requirement discussions and help define clear user flows with PMs.
• Understand merchant-facing workflows, operational constraints, and regional differences.
• Facilitate design reviews, alignment workshops, and cross-team communication.

4. User research and data-driven improvements

• Conduct or support usability testing, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
• Analyze behavioral data to identify friction points in critical journeys (onboarding, transactions, verification, dashboards).
• Provide evidence-based UX recommendations to improve efficiency and clarity.

5. Deliver cross-platform, multi-region optimized experiences

• Design responsive layouts and ensure excellent usability across devices.
• Adapt UI/UX for different markets while maintaining a unified design language.
• Ensure accessibility, scalability, and usability in all solutions.

6. Work within Agile teams (Scrum)

• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives).
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an iterative development model.
• Provide timely design assets and feedback aligned with sprint goals and timelines.

Hard Skills

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including:
  • Auto Layout
  • Component Variants
  • Component Library management
  • Design Token System (Figma Tokens)
  • Advanced Prototyping
• Demonstrated experience designing complex dashboards or data-intensive interfaces
• Hands-on experience maintaining or building a Design System
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, interaction design, and information architecture
• Familiarity with frontend constraints (HTML/CSS/JS/React basics are a plus)
• Practical experience working in Agile environments, especially Scrum
