1 Year Renewable Contract

Working time: 5 Days | Mon - Fri 8am-5.30pm (10am / 3pm - 15mins break, 12.15pm-1pm lunch)

Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate EDM sinker machines for precision machining of tooling, mold cavities, and insert components.

• Perform EDM machining on complex mold features, pocket geometries, and precision tooling components according to engineering specifications.

• Prepare, inspect, and manage electrodes to ensure machining accuracy and repeatability.

• Optimize machining parameters and EDM processes to achieve required dimensional tolerances and surface finish standards.

• Configure and monitor automated machining sequences for efficient production operations.

• Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments and verify compliance with technical drawings.

• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and 3D CAD data for machining and inspection activities.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure equipment operates at optimal condition.

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in high-precision mold chase fabrication, plastic injection mold making, or precision tooling environments.

• Hands-on experience in programming and operating EDM sinker machines, preferably Sodick (AG/AL Series), GF AgieCharmilles (FORM Series), or equivalent equipment.

• Able to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D CAD files (STEP/IGES), work to tolerances of ±0.005mm, and utilize precision workholding and inspection systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform precision threading of fine wires according to technical specifications
• Conduct detailed visual inspections using a microscope
• Ensure product quality and consistency throughout the production process
• Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area
• Record production data and complete relevant documentation
• Assist with other production-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and wearing PPE
• Able to perform detailed inspection work under a microscope
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Comfortable performing overtime when required
• Able to work independently and in a team environment

Shift Schedule

• Morning Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Shift Work Production Operator

Working Schedule

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation

• Operate and monitor production equipment according to standard procedures.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, breakdowns, or product quality issues.
• Support onboarding and training of new operators when required.

Standards & Quality Compliance

• Perform production tasks in accordance with work instructions, quality standards, and production targets.
• Record operational and production data accurately to ensure traceability where required.
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Production Material Preparation

• Verify that raw materials are delivered according to production requirements.
• Load raw materials and semi-finished products into the production process.
• Conduct final checks on completed products, including:Total production lengthQuantity of good-quality productsQuantity of defective products
• Prepare finished goods for transfer to the next process or warehouse.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Operate the Tower Crane as per the deployment schedule
• Maintain the assigned crane in clean and tidy working condition at all times
• Ensure that the lifting operations are carried safely and timely manner
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by Project Manager

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid Crane Operator Certificate (Saddle/Luffer/PPVC) certified by MOM. PPVC Lifiting Course for Crane Operators (Tower Crane) is COMPULSORY.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Good career record
• Must be committed and achieve good attendance record
