Job Description

·      The Associate Product Manager will support the delivery and ongoing management of an enterprise digital platform. 

·      This role focuses on backlog management, cross-functional coordination, and operational support, ensuring that product enhancements and changes are delivered in a controlled, secure, and timely manner across both non-production and production environments. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      Support execution of product strategy through backlog grooming, prioritization, and requirement clarification. 

·      Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and tasks. 

·      Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. 

·      Track delivery progress, dependencies, and risks across sprints and releases. 

·      Assist in stakeholder communication during deployments, incidents, and operational changes. 

·      Support production operations, including coordination during go-lives, incident management, and post-deployment reviews.

·      Ensure all deliverables comply with governance, security, and audit requirements. 

Required Skills & Experience

·       Experience supporting IT product delivery in a structured environment. 

·      Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and backlog management practices. 

·      Ability to effectively collaborate with technical teams (development, infrastructure, operations). 

·      Exposure to production support activities, including deployments and incident coordination. 

·      Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences. 

·      Flexibility to support after-hours activities for planned deployments or critical incidents, when required. 

·      Preferred Certifications (Optional) Agile / Scrum certifications ITIL Foundation (or equivalent) Cloud fundamentals certification

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Dive deep into data to align with business objectives, recommending novel, data-driven solutions, including AI/ML strategies, to address key customer challenges.
• Define, track, and measure critical business metrics. Develop analytical frameworks and sophisticated models to examine product configurations and validate hypotheses.
• Design, implement, and analyze rigorous A/B tests and experiments to guide product decisions, ensuring findings lead to clear, data-backed recommendations.
• Proactively define and monitor key metrics, performing root cause analysis on metric shifts or anomalies to quickly deliver actionable insights.
• Transform complex data into concise, high-quality insights via reports and dashboards for executive decision-making, and contribute to data pipeline and custom data science model development.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You have at least 4 years of experience in data-related or quantitative fields such as Analytics, Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• You are fluent with SQL, Python, R or other scripting/programming languages.
• You are experienced in handling large datasets and maintaining complex Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processes.
• You have solid statistical knowledge and hands-on experience running and analysing controlled experiments.
• You are proficient in creating dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI or other visualisation tools.

We are looking for a Senior Product Analyst with great analytical skills to help product teams be more data-driven and objective and guide the design of controlled experiments. You will work closely with different teams within a business line (Product, Business, Engineering, Design and Data Science) to understand data requirements, identify key metrics, and provide data-driven insights. The Product Management Control Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the of products , increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in day-to-day product management for Cards and Unsecured Lending products such as product governance, client experience, and product strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.

• Assist in the development and analysis of strategic product control roadmaps, ensuring framework development maximizes benefit from each product. Review surveys and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify potential risks, threats, and opportunities for product managers.

• Work with product managers in addressing regulatory, AML, and Fraud product concerns to create an advanced set of solutions

• Contribute to the achievement of targets and effective product risk management. Oversee the identification and execution of opportunities and address gaps in business plans.

• Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, prioritizing Citigroup's reputation, clients, and assets. This includes ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing, and transparently reporting control issues.

Qualifications:

• 5 – 8 years of relevant experience and >6 years of financial services industry experience

• Knowledge of product control, credit, product development, and/or analytics

• Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate

• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

• Demonstrated analytical skills

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Product Strategy & Vision

• Leads the creation of product vision, speed-to-market strategy, roadmap and impactful objectives that align with the overall business strategy
• Leads in the evaluation of new opportunities and put forth proposals for new capabilities
• Owns the product backlog and prioritisation process based on business value and customer impact
• Define success metrics and constantly measure the impact of the product(s)

Stakeholder Management

Product & Team Leadership

• Lead and build high performing cross-functional team(s) that includes UX designers, software engineers, business analysts and/or delivery managers to deliver digital products that achieves business outcomes
• Work closely with UX designers to plan research objectives, organise activities such as product conceptualisation workshops and Usability Tests
• Analyse requirements to drive the design or review of test cases, and business processes
• Collaborate with Quality Engineer and business users to plan and monitor User acceptance test and user performance test
• Continuously seeks ways to improve products in the most cost-effective approach

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in product management & business analytics
• Experience facilitating focus groups, workshops and sprint reviews
• Strong in stakeholder management and vendor management
• Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner is a bonus
