Purpose of position

This is a challenging role that supports AMEA business functions and processes with applied analytics. Your role will be to investigate key business problems, discover insights and recommend improvement actions through data mining, statistical analysis and data visualization techniques. Next to that you will support other business functions and strategic projects with finding and understanding data, user training and coaching.

Areas of responsibility

1 - Data analysis: Support key AMEA business processes with applied analytics

• Identify what data is needed, available and relevant to the problem
• Design and develop strategic methods for data collection and analysis
• Integrate and prepare datasets; build and evaluate data models
• Explore and analyze data using statistical and visualization techniques
• Define and describe common business metrics and KPI's
• Summarize and present findings and recommendations to business users and stakeholders in understandable and relevant ways, both verbally and visually
• Document and publish analyses so that others may reproduce and learn from prior work

2 – Project support: Support key AMEA business strategies with analytics solutions

• Provide analytical and subject matter expertise for the development of analytics solutions needed to support main business strategies and initiatives
• Work with peers in Business Intelligence, Data Management and Data Science to develop and provide solutions
• Support the development of technical analytics solutions by communicating business requirements and providing subject matter expertise
• Build plans; ensure work progress; identify and report success measures
• Prepare and present progress reports and outcomes to stakeholders

3 - Training and development: training solutions for analytical tools and techniques

• Conduct or support training sessions and provide coaching to analysts in business functions and other key user groups in AMEA

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Statistics, Business Analytics, Actuarial Studies or similar discipline.
• Experience: 8 years practical, applied analytics experience in any industry
• Applied analytical skills, including statistical knowledge; data modeling and visualization using modern BI/Analytics tools

· Good communication skills, including the ability to tell compelling stories with data

· A good understanding of fundamental business principles and problems and the ability to constantly and independently ask questions, find answers, and learn

• Professional skills: project management; influencing & persuasion; judgement & decision making; leadership; planning & organizing.
• SAFe Agile certification is a plus
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Reporting to the Director, Trade Support – Commercial, the Commercial Business Services Sr Advisor, Trade Support will join a high-impact team where he/she will leverage advanced business intelligence and trade support expertise to drive actionable insights, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making. This role will also collaborate across functions, translate complex data into clear recommendations and support the organization’s growth and compliance objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design and execution of complex reports, identifying trends and translating insights into recommendations
• Perform advanced analysis, data mining, and modeling to support business decisions
• Manage and enhance data management systems, while ensuring data integrity and compliance with organizational standards
• Coordinate and execute regression and critical function testing in multiple trade systems for new functionality and release
• Monitor, troubleshoot and address system-related operational issues encountered by schedulers, escalating issues as appropriate
• Collaborate with the Commercial Front Office and global Business Stakeholders to understand operational requirements and future Deals-to-Dollars operational needs
• Design and configure system solutions that support business operations by translating business requirements into effective system solutions

What You’ll Bring – Required

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or trade support roles with a Bachelor’s degree, or 10 years of equivalent experience in a similar role in lieu of a degree
• Advanced skills in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Proficiency with SAP and ETRM systems
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, ensure accountability, and optimize work processes

The Executive Project Advisor is a project lead role responsible for leading a regional review project of first‑mile and last‑mile strategies across Southeast Asia. The role is accountable for structuring, managing, and delivering a time‑bound, end‑to‑end project that assesses current state operations, identifies gaps and opportunities, and produces clear, actionable recommendations for the region.

• Lead a regional project to review and assess first‑mile and last‑mile strategies across Southeast Asia

Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities

Project Governance
- Ensure project compliance with the company's wider portfolio management decision-making structures and processes
- Provide regular project milestone reporting to management
- Ensure strict adherence to the Solution Delivery Process Guide (SDPG) and the organization's Policy and Operating Manuals
- Participate in the internal and external compliance audits when called upon (including the provision of audit request items, interviews, etc.)

Project Planning
- Define the scope of the project
- Create a detailed workplan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
- Determine the resources required to complete the project
- Develop a schedule for project completion
-Establish the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated

Project Implementation
- Execute the project according to the project plan
- Perform document controlling duties for documents related to the project
- Monitor the progress of the project, keep updates and course-correct as necessary

Project Control
- Communicate with sponsors as outlined in project objectives
- Monitor and get approval for all budgeted project expenditures
- Monitor project expenses, cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management
- Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures

Stakeholder Management
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective project working relationships
- Ensure that stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met

Project Risk Management
- Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate
- Develop and implement solutions to overcome identified risks

Requirements

• Techno‑functional professional with strong program and project management expertise, leading end‑to‑end ERP/EPM implementations across planning, execution, data migration, cutover, and stabilization phases.
• Deep IT and ERP proficiency, with hands‑on experience across Workday Financials, SAP ERP, and EPM platforms, supporting scalable finance and revenue operations.
• Strong understanding of APLL operational and finance models, with the ability to perform a Business Analyst role, translating business needs into functional and system requirements.
• Strong functional knowledge across core Finance domains including Order‑to‑Cash (OTC), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Revenue Accounting, Billing, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Management, Cost Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Financial Reporting.
• Proven capability to align business and functional requirements to enable a smooth SAP ERP to Workday transformation, covering process harmonization, data migration, reconciliation, validation, historical data archival, and audit compliance.  
• Hands‑on involvement in data migration and archival activities, including source‑to‑target mapping, data cleansing, chart of accounts restructuring, legacy data retention strategy, and parallel run support.
• Experience supporting strategic transformation programs, ensuring alignment between business objectives, functional process optimization, system configuration, and data readiness.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify delivery, integration, and data risks, and drive timely resolution in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Effective communicator and stakeholder manager, collaborating with global finance leaders, operations teams, IT partners, and external vendors to deliver business outcomes.
• Demonstrated techno‑functional advisory leadership, bridging finance, revenue, and APLL operational models with enterprise IT, reporting, and analytics solutions.
