Requirements

• Diploma or above in Networking / Electrical / Project Engineering or related discipline in engineering.
• At least 3 years relevant working experience in project management, electrical services coordination and testing & commissioning systems.
• Experience in large scale projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of PC applications such as MS Office, MS Project.
• Good computer network knowledge.
• Knowledge on access control systems and CCTV systems experience highly desirable.

Job Description

• Contribute to Life Science projects for Antaes Asia clients.
• Develop and execute C&Q documentation including commissioning protocols, SAT reports, IQ/OQ/PQ protocols, summary reports, and traceability matrices. 
• Support end-to-end C&Q lifecycle for process, utility, and support systems — e.g. bioreactors, chromatography skids, filtration units, CIP/SIP, WFI, HVAC, autoclaves, and clean utilities. 
• Manage execution of commissioning and qualification activities in alignment with project schedules, safety standards, and GMP compliance. 
• Support automation qualification (DeltaV, PLC, SCADA) and ensure integration with process control systems. 
• Review vendor documentation and coordinate SAT with suppliers and engineering teams. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during C&Q execution. 
• Ensure all C&Q deliverables meet internal Quality and Validation standards, and align with site Validation Master Plan (VMP).
• Support handover of qualified systems to Manufacturing and Maintenance teams, including training and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA Validation, Manufacturing, and Automation.
• Contribute to the promotion of Antaes services on top of assistance provided to clients 

Job Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical, or related Engineering field.
• 3–7 years of CQV experience in the pharmaceutical industry  
• Strong understanding of GMP, GEP, ISPE Baseline Guides, ASTM E2500, and FDA/EMA validation expectations. 
• Experience in process equipment qualification (bioreactors, chromatography, UF/DF, CIP/SIP), clean utilities, and automation integration. 
• Familiar with risk-based CQV approach and change control processes. 
• Proficiency with documentation management systems (e.g., Veeva) 
• Candidate must be highly motivated, be able to work independently as well as in a team and have good organizational and oral and written communication skills 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English - to coordinate and liase with English speaking counterparts.

What you'll do:

As a Project Engineer based in Singapore’s vibrant manufacturing sector, you will be entrusted with overseeing complex capital projects from their earliest stages through to successful completion. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating across multiple departments—such as production, supply chain management, quality assurance, safety compliance, engineering design—and engaging with external contractors or suppliers. You will be responsible for developing detailed plans that outline scope, budgetary constraints, scheduling milestones, resource allocation strategies as well as risk mitigation approaches. Throughout each phase of the project lifecycle—from conceptualisation through engineering design to installation and commissioning—you will ensure that all activities adhere strictly to established safety protocols and factory standards. Your ability to manage stakeholder expectations while maintaining meticulous documentation will be crucial in achieving seamless handovers upon project completion. • Support the annual capital expenditure planning process by developing comprehensive project charters for approved initiatives that align with organisational objectives.
• Define clear project scopes, objectives, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements to ensure successful project execution from inception to completion.
• Prepare detailed project documentation including charters, cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, progress reports, and close-out materials to maintain transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project expenditures diligently to ensure effective cost control measures are implemented at every stage of the process.
• Develop robust engineering solutions and layouts that strictly comply with safety regulations, hygiene protocols, quality benchmarks, and manufacturing standards.
• Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and utility requirements for new installations by liaising with relevant stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Review technical specifications thoroughly to guarantee all engineering deliverables meet or exceed internal compliance standards.
• Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and equipment vendors during project implementation to ensure seamless integration of new systems into existing operations.
• Oversee procurement processes for equipment as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) activities and installation works to facilitate timely project progression.
• Lead commissioning efforts including testing and start-up activities while coordinating closely with operations, maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering teams during handover.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a closely related discipline is required for this role.
• You bring 8–12 years of proven experience in manufacturing project engineering or managing capital expenditure projects within industrial settings.
• Demonstrated success in delivering factory expansion projects or leading equipment installation initiatives within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments is highly desirable.
• A thorough understanding of manufacturing operations coupled with deep knowledge of relevant engineering standards and stringent safety requirements is essential.
• Experience managing contractors as well as building productive relationships with suppliers and external vendors forms a core part of your skill set.
• Familiarity with recognised project management methodologies along with strong command over project controls ensures effective oversight throughout each phase of delivery.
• Excellent communication skills enable you to provide regular updates to key stakeholders while facilitating smooth collaboration between cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to multinational manufacturing environments enhances your ability to adapt best practices across diverse operational contexts.
• Hands-on experience in end-to-end management of CAPEX projects—including equipment procurement through commissioning—is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), food safety protocols or SHE (Safety Health Environment) requirements would further strengthen your application.

• Prepare, develop, and issue complete CAD drawing packages—from conceptual space plans to detailed technical construction drawings—for new and remodeled retail stores.
• Issue CAD-based vendor packages to brand partners and oversee the design, fabrication, and installation of retail counters and fixtures.
• Conduct site surveys and ensure all design layouts strictly comply with internal corporate standards, landlord regulations, and local tenancy codes.
• Assist in securing all necessary statutory building permits and landlord design approvals prior to site mobilization.
• Partner with internal teams (Merchandising, Operations, IT) to map out merchandise layouts, MEP (mechanical/electrical/plumbing) requirements, and operational workflows.
• Monitor site execution, manage field changes, and track the construction schedule to ensure on-time and within-budget store handovers.

skills & experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Advanced, hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD (must be able to independently generate technical drawings, space plans, and multi-vendor design packages).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering, interior fit-outs, or store planning; direct experience running retail construction projects will be a plus
• Working knowledge of retail tenancy codes, building authority submission processes, and general fit-out construction methods.
