Key Responsibility

The Project Proposal Engineer plays a pivotal role in achieving project objectives within defined time and cost frameworks while ensuring full delivery scope and quality. This position involves a combination of technical expertise, project management, and customer-focused activities to support and drive sales. As a crucial link between the technical and commercial aspects of projects, the Project Proposal Engineer ensures customer satisfaction and successful handover to the Project Execution team.

This role will be based in Singapore, is part of the Sales Department ( Internal Sales Team ), responsible for the Water/Wastewater Industry and reports to the Customer Experience Manager (CXM).

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

Collaborative Sales Approach

• Partner closely with all stakeholders to serve customers effectively and meet team sales targets.

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other communication channels.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.

• Promote Digital Sales business

Proposal & Quotation Preparation

• Proposal & Quotation Preparation

• Analyze requests for proposals to understand project scope, technical requirements and customer expectations.

• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies in proposals.

• Ensure proposals adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations.

• Utilize CEP and SAP systems to prepare accurate costings, quotations, and proposals for company's products, services, and third-party packages.

• Terms & condition (T&C) review & negotiation

Customer Engagement and Technical Assistance

• Summarize customer specifications and create a Deviation/Clarification list.

• Participate in technical clarification meetings with customers, clarifying company's proposed deviations.

• Handle inquiries via various communication channels, provide technical assistance and advice, follow up on quotations, negotiate terms, close orders, and maintain customer relationships.

Cross-Department Coordination

• Work with Sales teams, Service, Finance and Supply Chain departments to gather necessary input for quotations and proposals.

Order Processing and Verification

• Verify and acknowledge customer Purchase Orders, prepare checklist and hold internal kickoff meeting to facilitate the handover to project execution team

Customer Service and Problem Resolution

• Deliver exceptional customer service, build strong relationships, resolve problems, and address complaints effectively.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform any other tasks required by the Company to support its business strategy.

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Control, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in Instrumentation and Automation/Control Engineering

• Strong technical expertise in applicable engineering domains

• Prior experience in the Water Wastewater industry

• Proven ability to prepare and manage project proposal

• SAP / Salesforce Lightning System knowledge (Would be an advantage)

• Solid project management skills (PMP certification is an added advantage)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Summary

The Sales Engineers Position is the premier opportunity for you to learn consultative, solution-based sales. Sales professionals work in a highly professional and fast-paced office an average of two days a week, while three days a week they visit manufacturers in a sales territory so that they can consult face-to-face on solving customers’ critical quality control, reliability, and research or design applications. Job Scope

• Attend product and application training at Singapore office (Approximately 3 to 6 months). Training is paid.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our Engineering and Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects from conception through completion, with a specific focus on structural repair and modification of offshore and onshore rigs. This role requires strong technical expertise, exceptional coordination skills, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects related to structural repair and modification of rigs, ensuring alignment with project scope, budget, and schedule
• Serve as the primary interface and coordinator between all key stakeholders, including project owners, clients, engineering teams, shipyards, vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers
• Develop and execute detailed project plans, including scope definition, work breakdown structure (WBS), scheduling, and cost estimation
• Monitor project progress against timelines and budgets; identify risks and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate procurement activities and vendor management,ensuring quality standards and delivery schedules are met
• Facilitate and conduct technical meetings with cross-functionalteams to resolve design, engineering, and operational challenges
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, reports, and change management records

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related engineering discipline
• 3–4 years of professional experience as a Project Engineer or ina similar project management role within the oil & gas industry
• Demonstrated experience with structural repair and/or modification projects on offshore or onshore rigs
• Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, industry standards (API, DNV, ABS), and regulatory frameworks applicable to oil &gas operations
• Proven experience working in or managing projects within shipyard environments; strong understanding of shipyard operations, workflows, resource planning, scheduling constraints, and maritime construction processes
• Familiarity with rig maintenance and preservation procedures during stacked and non-operational periods, including knowledge of OEM requirements, preservation standards, commissioning readiness criteria, andreturn-to-service protocols
• Strong capability in establishing project baselines, work breakdown structures, and managing outstanding tasks and scope items with clear documentation and closure procedures
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with technical documentation, CAD software (AutoCAD, or equivalent), and data management systems
