Role Summary

• Hands-on role reporting to the Senior Project Engineer
• End-to-end project ownership: from customer enquiry through engineering design, fabrication coordination, site installation, and commissioning

• Coordinate project activities across internal teams including IT, Product, QA, and Operations.

• Track project timelines and ensure tasks are progressing according to plan.

• Follow up with relevant stakeholders on project deliverables and milestones.

Stakeholder & External Liaison

• Liaise with external partners, vendors, or service providers to support project implementation.

• Coordinate project discussions with external stakeholders and ensure deliverables are aligned with project timelines.

• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external parties.

Project Monitoring

• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, blockers, or delays.

• Maintain project documentation and ensure project information is properly recorded.

• Prepare project updates, reports, and summaries for management when required.

Team Coordination

• Provide coordination support to project team members and ensure tasks are clearly assigned and followed up.

• Assist in maintaining smooth collaboration across project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in project coordination or project management roles.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience coordinating projects across multiple teams and external parties.

• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and follow-up ability.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. ClickUp, Jira, or similar tools) is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth & Strategy:

• Develop and execute segment strategy for data center markets (hyperscale, colocation, enterprise)
• Identify and qualify new business opportunities aligned with Trane Technologies’ sustainability and growth priorities (Chiller, CDU, FWU)
• Build robust opportunity pipelines and manage data center customer expectations
• You will promote and propose Company Chiller & Equipment to Data Center owners, consultants, and contractors

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:

• Responsible for developing long-term customer relationships
• Building close business relationships with customers, especially key accounts
• Maximizing account penetration and customer retention
• Identify potential opportunities & develop solutions with existing & new customers
• Negotiates value, addresses resistance, and closes the sale
• Provide customer feedback to support continuous improvement, innovation, and portfolio development

Technical Aptitude:

• Differentiates & made Trane a preferred supplier
• Applies strong understanding of HVAC systems, mission‑critical cooling, and sustainable design principles
• Partner with sales teams, engineering, product management, controls, service, and contracting to develop customer proposals and holistic solutions.

Operational Excellence:

• Update the new project forecast timely manner into the system
• You also need to ensure all works carried out in accordance with the specified quality and EHS standards

Requirement:

• Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or its equivalent
• 5+ years of working experience in Data Center related sectors, engineering sales, and HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of data center cooling technologies and mechanical system design
• Proven ability to build and influence relationships at senior levels
• Customer driven with excellent communication & interpersonal skills
