Software Engineer (Web Front-End) (React with TypeScript, NodeJS + Cloud Service Providers - AWS, Azure, or GCP)

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working on:

• Partner with software engineers and other functions to understand objectives for development delivery efficiency and system resiliency, helping them articulate how specific technical capabilities and best practices will achieve key business outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's existing technical landscapes, workflows, and processes to identify inefficiencies, pain points, and gaps that hinder their goals.

• Collaborate with client to identify the most relevant practices (e.g., CI/CD, SRE) for using Core Engineering Products in achieving their goals, considering unique needs and industry best practices.

• Develop transition roadmaps that outline a clear path from the current state to the desired future state, including the adoption of recommended tools and processes.

• Explain complex concepts clearly to various client stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for improving workflows and addressing their challenges, and providing supporting diagrams as needed.

• Support client with proof of concept (POC) initiatives to validate solutions, offering hands-on assistance during early implementation phases to enable smooth transitions to full-scale rollouts.

• Collaborate closely with fellow Software Engineers to exchange insights, share tools and scripts, and foster a collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• 6+ years in an individual contributor software engineering role.

• Experience with NodeJs with TypeScript.

• Experience with one or more of Cloud Service Providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience building cron jobs and scripts to run batch jobs.

• Experience with streaming data.

• Strong track record of successful large-scale partner solution implementations, preferably in complex enterprise environments

• Exceptional communication skills with ability to bridge technical discussions between internal teams and external partners

• Experience working in highly secured and air gap systems is a plus (i.e. banking, government systems and similar)"

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• At least 3 year of software engineer / backend development experience (Java / Node.Js) is preferable for this post
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (operating systems, network principles, data structures, and algorithms)
• Programming Languages: High proficiency in Java (including JVM internals and performance tuning) or Node.js (including its event-driven architecture and asynchronous programming model). Proficiency in both is a significant plus.
• Frameworks & Middleware: Proficient with common open-source frameworks and tools such as Kafka, RocketMQ, Dubbo, Zookeeper, and Redis.
• Deep knowledge of MySQL, including schema design, SQL optimization, and database scaling strategies.
• System Experience: Proven, hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining high-concurrency, high-performance, and high-availability systems.

Core Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Design and implement a comprehensive, scalable Web-based framework (Frontend, Backend, and Database) to replace existing standalone models, ensuring seamless multi-terminal data synchronization.

• Vision Translation: Take high-level conceptual ideas and business logic from leadership and independently draft detailed Technical Proposals, system schemas, and actionable execution plans.

• AI & Data Strategy: Design the architecture to support AI Fusion, focusing on integrating machine learning models for automated defect classification, image recognition, and intelligent data analytics.

• Technical Mentorship: Act as the technical authority for the development team. Establish coding standards, manage development sprints, and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure architectural integrity.

• Systems Integration: Oversee the complex integration logic between the Web platform and robotic hardware, ensuring precise capturing and visualization of 3D spatial data (location, elevation, and severity).

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in Full-stack software development, with at least 3 years in a Lead or Architectural role.

• Expert proficiency in modern frameworks such as React.js / Vue.js (Frontend) and Node.js / Python / Java (Backend).

• Solid understanding of AI integration patterns, data labelling workflows, or interfacing with AI inference engines.

• Expertise in designing complex schemas (SQL/NoSQL) capable of handling high-frequency industrial and robotic data.

• A self-driven leader capable of defining the "How" once given the "What," with a track record of delivering projects with minimal daily supervision.

Responsibilities | CORE

- Analyse process and program specifications and translate into program codes

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical engineering experience
- Experience with operational parameters and troubleshooting for three (3) of the following: compute/storage/networking/CDN/databases/DevOps/big data and analytics/security/applications development in a distributed systems environment
