Primary Purpose:

1)           Perform and ensure routine maintenance activities are carried out as scheduled.

2)           Perform OS upgrades/patching.

3)           Attend to network and system service and change request. 

4)           Provide resolution for all application and/or technical incidents and work with external support if required.

5)           Identify root cause, preventive and corrective measures for identified problems to prevent recurring incidents.

6)           Provide incident and problem reporting for all stakeholders in timely and professional manner.

7)           Assist in preparing system related documents and ISO Audit

8)           Participate in new project implementation, requirement gathering, setup & installation, testing and commissioning.

Our Requirements:

1)           Possess at least a Diploma or its equivalent in Computer / IT with minimum 2-3 years working experience in related field. Those with CCNA but no work experience with positive learning attitude can be considered.

2)          Ideal Candidate : 2-3 years of working experience as a Network Engineer supporting Cisco, Fortigate, Huawei product in switch, router, firewall, monitoring tools, security appliances and cablings.

3)           Trained or certified in Cisco, Fortigate products would be advantageous.

4)           Analytical, proactive and able to multi-task and prioritize all work assigned.

5)           Team player with good English communication skills who can also work independently under minimum supervision.

6)           Motivated individual with challenger spirit and leadership are strongly encouraged to apply.

7)           Exceptional troubleshooting and customer-handling skills would be advantageous.

Role Summary

We are seeking a LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement) Service Engineer to serve as Huawei’s on-site technical authority for our Smart String Energy Storage System (ESS) . You will be embedded at the customer’s facility, acting as the single point of contact for all technical matters under the LTSA. Your mission is to maximize system availability, ensure contractual compliance, and drive operational excellence for Huawei’s BESS solution, including battery cabinets, PCS, SACU, EMS.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational & Technical Oversight

• System Monitoring & Maintenance: Perform daily health checks, condition monitoring, and preventive maintenance on Huawei’s BESS components, including battery packs, Power Conversion Systems (PCS), Smart Array Controller Units (SACU), and thermal management systems.
• Fault Diagnosis & RCA: Lead root cause analysis and emergency troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Quickly resolve key live network problems and prevent recurrence.
• Outage Management: Execute scheduled overhauls, component replacements, and firmware upgrades in strict accordance with Huawei’s OEM technical manuals and LTSA scope.

2. LTSA Compliance & Performance Management

• Contractual Adherence: Ensure all maintenance activities align with LTSA terms, including response times (e.g., 30 min for remote support), performance guarantees, and warranty conditions.
• KPI Tracking: Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators such as system availability, round-trip efficiency, and mean time to repair (MTTR). Utilize Huawei’s digital O&M tools for proactive inspection and health reporting.
• Spare Parts Management: Coordinate the RMA process for faulty components, manage consignment stock (if applicable), and ensure just-in-time delivery of critical spares like PCS modules or battery packs.

3. Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary interface between the customer’s operations team.
• Reporting: Issue daily operational logs, monthly performance reports, and technical service bulletins. Conduct routine customer meetings to review system performance.
• Training & Handover: Provide on-site theoretical and practical training to customer personnel, including safety operations and maintenance certification as per Huawei standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, or Automation.
• Experience: 1-2 years of field service experience is good. Similar working experience with Battery Energy Storage System is a strong advantage. Fresh grad with proactive learner attitude is welcome.
• Technical Skills:
• Deep knowledge of BESS components: Lithium-ion battery characteristics, PCS topology, EMS, and thermal management.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting inverters, battery racks, and control systems (SACU/SPPC).
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, P&IDs, and single-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with digital O&M platforms (e.g., Huawei FusionSolar) is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, cross-cultural communication, and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all plant maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and shutdown maintenance, to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Drive equipment reliability, plant availability, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise operational performance and minimise downtime.
• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and effective utilisation of maintenance management systems while controlling operational costs.
• Manage and develop multidisciplinary maintenance teams across Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation functions to build a high-performing maintenance organisation.

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Application Maintenance Engineer to support the System for a long-term application maintenance and support engagement. The candidate will provide Level 2 and Level 3 support, ensuring the availability, stability, performance, and integrity of critical production and non-production environments.

• This role requires strong hands-on experience in the Microsoft technology stack, system integration, database support, incident/problem management, and production support operations. The candidate must be able to work onsite at the client’s office (9am-6pm) and provide onsite support during major events as required.

• In addition, the role is expected to provide end-to-end application maintenance services, including incident investigation, resolution management, and bug fixes. The position requires solid technical expertise across a broad range of technologies, including programming in .NET, data streaming with Kafka, database management with Oracle, and domain knowledge in system integration using Oracle Service Bus (OSB), as well as related technologies such as SignalR and Redis.

Required Skillsets:
