About the Role

The world is shifting from fossil fuels to renewable energy. To help shape Tara Climate Foundation’s strategy and support our partners across Asia, we need to gather, interpret and use a wide range of data on the clean energy transition. This is the role of the Senior Data & Impact Officer.

We are looking for a highly capable analyst with strong knowledge of the energy transition, excellent data interpretation and communication skills, and a deep commitment to climate action. This role requires someone who can work with detailed datasets while also understanding what the numbers mean for strategy, policy, infrastructure, and real-world decarbonisation pathways.

The successful candidate will be able to understand and interpret data across areas such as electricity generation, power sector planning, renewable and fossil fuel energy infrastructure, greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, industrial decarbonisation, finance flows and policy change. They will not only capture and manage data, but also ask the right questions of it: what is changing, what is not changing, where progress is evidenced, where there are gaps, and what this means for Tara’s programs and partners.

Clean energy transition data analysis and insights — 40%

• Working with the Deputy Director for Program Management & Impact, contribute strongly to the development and delivery of Tara’s Program Data Strategy, ensuring it supports Tara’s strategic goals, four-year plan, and program priorities.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on analytics leader to drive the end-to-end delivery of data insights that inform business decisions and organisational strategy. Key Responsibilities

Analytics Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the compilation, analysis and reporting of key performance indicators, ensuring timely and accurate insights delivery

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Expertise

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in data analytics, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Strong foundation in analytics, statistics, economics, applied mathematics or related disciplines
• Proven experience in data wrangling, modelling, visualisation and insight generation
• Familiarity with statistical modelling, forecasting and market research methodologies

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, R and SQL
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and multiple data sources
• Ability to integrate analytics outputs into dashboards or platforms

• Strong ability to translate data into business value and strategic recommendations

The Cabling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing structured cabling requests across the APAC region, covering data centres and network rooms. 

The role ensures timely delivery, standardisation, and compliance with cabling standards while supporting regional projects and operational requests, including after‑hours and weekend activities when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the regional point of contact for APAC cabling requests (MACs, projects, refreshes).
• Coordinate cabling activities with local sites, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure cabling works comply with global standards, labelling conventions, and best practices.
• Review cabling designs, rack layouts, and pathways for feasibility and scalability.
• Track request status, manage schedules, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Validate work completion, testing results, and documentation.
• Support weekend and after‑hours cabling activities for critical implementations.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience coordinating structured cabling in data centres and network rooms.
• Strong knowledge of fibre and copper cabling standards and practices.
• Experience working across multiple countries/sites in APAC will be an advantage
• Strong coordination, communication, and documentation skills.

Working Conditions

• Regional APAC coverage with occasional weekend and after‑hours support as required.
