Position overview

The System Engineer is responsible for end-to-end system-level quality, integrating cross-functional components, and ensuring efficient issue resolution and continuous system improvement. • Conduct on-site inspections to monitor construction progress and verify quality of work against approved plans
• Enforce adherence to safety regulations and guidelines throughout construction activities
• Review and approve construction drawings, materials, and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Coordinate with QPS team, contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly
• Maintain detailed records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and quality control measures
• Verify that all works conform to approved drawings, specifications, and contractual agreements
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams to facilitate successful project delivery
• Identify and report discrepancies, non-conformances, and irregularities to the QPS team for corrective action
• Collaborate with authorities and agencies to secure necessary approvals and permits for construction activities
• Participate in site meetings, inspections, and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Certification as a Resident Technical Officer (RTO) by BCA/IES/ACES
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and construction practices
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with contractors and stakeholders
• Willingness to work on-site, including irregular hours and weekends if required

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant experience in construction supervision, preferably in civil engineering projects
• Prior experience with HDB BTO/LTA projects

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical installation for on-site installation and online calls.
• Provide on-site service and support to customers; not limited to local customers. For instance, problem verification, solution, and checking defective items to investigate and repair. 
• Set up, configure, and commission our products for customers.
• Handles technical inquiries and requests for quotations on technical services.
• Produce relevant reports for all work relating to on-site problems such as root cause analysis, service report, commissioning report, etc. 
• Handle customer service calls on defective products and preventive maintenance.
• Support the sales team in providing technical solutions to meet customers' needs.
• In addition to these duties/responsibilities, employees are required to carry out such duties as may reasonably be required.

• Diploma in Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in M&E, control & automation industry.
• Mature, self-disciplined and results-driven.

Responsibilities :

• Support the technical team and construction team for all design matters.
• Review all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works.
• Work closely with consultant on the scope of services, design and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and constructability.
• Manage design approval process and coordination with the clients, consultants and subcontractors in a timely manner to resolve all technical issues.
• Ensure strict compliance of the design in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Identifies and highlight to management and project team of any potential risks or issues that will impact project performance.
• Support tender team and prepare technical tender documents as per specifications for bidding of civil and structural engineering projects as when assigned.

Requirements :

• PE Board Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of design management experience with at least 2 year of design experience in consultant firm.
• Strong coordination and collaboration with other disciplines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills .
• Good organization and time management skills.
