Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to support the pre-sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, spec-in activities

• Offer technical assistance and guidance on usage for IDS products, addressing basic queries and issues before they are escalated to the support ticket system

Position Overview:

Lead/Senior Engineering Information System (EIS) Application Engineer takes lead and conduct Engineering Information System (EIS) management. It includes EIS environment customization fit to Company/Project use, Administration of Users, EIS Troubleshooting to ensure Company/Project implement EIS smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate of the position will have a solid experience of Engineering Information System in Offshore or FPSO FEED/EPCI Projects , and especially Hands-on experience of AVEVA Engineering Management Platform (AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA AIM, AVEVA E3D, AVEVA ERM etc).

Responsibilities:

- Reports to Corporate EIS Lead or Head of Discipline

- Develop Corporate Project or Technical Standards and Procedure for Engineering Information System (EIS)

- Customization of EIS to fit to Company/Project use

- EIS Environment Setup

- Administration of EIS users

- EIS Troubleshooting

- Management of EIS Database

- Reporting of EIS related status (Development, Customization, Troubleshooting etc)

- Other ad-hoc activities as per Corporate Management or Project Management instruction and assignment

Requirements:

- Minimum 10 - 15 years experience in the offshore or onshore oil and gas industry

- Minimum consecutive 5 - 7 years experience at top-tier FPSO contractor or Offshore/Onshore EPC contractor (minimum 5 years working experience in the same contractor)

- Minimum 1 - 2 FPSO FEED/EPCI Project experience as an EIS Application Engineer

- Versed with Platform (AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA Engineering, AVEVA P&ID, AVEVA Electrical, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA AIM, AVEVA E3D, AVEVA ERM etc)

- Strong commitment/ownership on his/her assignment

- Ability to work with and to communicate effectively with co-workers and manage multiple priorities

- Fluent in English, with strong oral and written communication skills

The Senior System Engineer serves as the senior technical authority within the Service Delivery organization. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for end-to-end system architecture, technical design, and execution across complex, large-scale deployments. You will define technical strategy, ensure delivery excellence, mentor engineers, and act as the top-level escalation point for critical incidents. Working closely with the PMO and cross-functional teams, you will safeguard delivery integrity, enforce technical standards, and ensure all projects meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture and design for multi-site, geo-redundant systems. Develop High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD) and validate Detailed-Level Designs (DLD) before deployment.
• Define reference architectures and golden images; champion automation-first strategies for provisioning, configuration, patching, and system upgrades.
• Own technical delivery plans, risk identification, and mitigation strategies across staging and production environments. Ensure proper validation through documented unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Partner with engineering and PMO teams to maintain governance frameworks, manage change control, and align key stakeholders at every project milestone.
• Serve as the highest-level (Tier-3/4) escalation point for critical incidents (Sev-1/Sev-2). Lead incident resolution, conduct root-cause investigations, and drive implementation of permanent corrective measures.
• Act as the technical lead during pre-sales and delivery phasesclarifying requirements, validating assumptions, and translating business needs into technical designs in collaboration with Sales, Service Excellence, Product, and PMO teams.
• Lead technical workshops, architecture reviews, and formal handovers. Represent engineering leadership in change advisory boards and go/no-go decision meetings.
• Ensure HLDs, LLDs, runbooks, disaster recovery procedures, and security hardening guides are up to date, version-controlled, and consistently applied across delivery teams.
• Mentor System Engineers and Senior Engineers, review technical designs and scripts, set quality benchmarks, and guide professional growth and cross-training efforts.
• Drive close collaboration with Sales, Service Excellence, Product, and Customer teams to deliver cohesive and high-quality solutions.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Linux Administration: Advanced expertise in RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu, including system hardening, high-availability clustering, and performance optimization.
• Networking and Security: Strong understanding of switching, routing, firewalls, VLANs, and core protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, LDAP, SMTP); capable of making architecture-level security and design decisions.
• Virtualization and Cloud: Skilled in KVM, VMware, and Hyper-V platforms; proficient in designing hybrid architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP with cost and performance optimization.
• Data and Observability: Hands-on experience with MySQL, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL; familiarity with centralized logging, metrics, and alerting tools such as syslog-ng and Elastic Stack.
• Automation and Scripting: Proficient in Bash and Linux shell scripting; working knowledge of Python, Ansible, and Terraform for infrastructure automation and CI/CD implementation.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in systems engineering, including at least 3 years in an architecture or principal engineering capacity managing complex deployments.
• Preferred certifications include RHCE, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), and network/security credentials such as CCNP.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or above in computer science or engineering related majors.

• Generate the migration scripts (e.g. VBA and Python) required for all batches
• Ensure rollback scripts are included for all batches in every Work Order
• Responsible to validate the script for all batches in every Work Order prior implementation

Overall Job Scope

Pre-migration activities

• Perform pre-migration checks and testing to ensure service readiness, including:
• Test matrix execution;
• Inbound/outbound call scenarios;
• Confirmation that subscriber data is fully synchronized prior migration;
• Identification and rectification of anomalies that may impact the migration process

During-migration activities

• Carry out migration activities in accordance with the approved cutover schedule, including:
• Execution of approved migration scripts for provisioning, rollback;
• Real-time monitoring of migration status and KPIs;
• Immediate troubleshooting and escalation of any errors, mismatches, or failed migration entries;
• Coordination with Customer and Huawei teams to validate progress and address exceptions;
• Documentation of all actions performed during the migration window

Post-migration activities

• Perform post-migration call testing;
• Validate that subscribers services are fully restored and operating as expected;
• Conduct post-migration monitoring to detect abnormalities or service degradation;
• Rectify all post-cutover issues prior to work order (WO) closure
• Submit complete migration evidence, logs and reports for Customer verification and audit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of cloud-based web applications using open source technologies on AWS.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team, guiding solution design, code quality, and best practices.
• Work closely with offshore team for planning, prioritisation, and daily coordination.
