This position works in a smaller team that specifies, develops and delivers the toolchain that allows our customers and partners to develop or port AI models to run optimally on our Neural Processing Units.

Responsibilities

• Specify and develop new toolchain features for existing and new NPU architectures, working with the inference engine sub-team
• Enhance, maintain and support existing toolchain features, and modify model network layers for NPU optimality, working with the application engineering teams and sometimes customers/partners.
• Constantly improve productivity through automation in all areas

Skills

• Strong Python class based product development skills based on knowledge of design patterns
• Strong understanding of all aspects of a compiler and related development and debugging technologies, code generation, program analysis, and pipeline optimizations
• Good communication, collaboration, task estimation & reporting, CI/CD via tools such as Confluence, Git, JIRA etc.

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled L2 Network Operations Engineer to join our Network Operations team. This role is pivotal in maintaining network stability, managing critical incidents, and ensuring procedural readiness for high-severity events within our Cisco-based Data Center environment. The ideal candidate will take ownership of emergency access protocols, ensuring seamless coordination during outages and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Critical Incident Response (L2):

• Act as the senior escalation point for normal network incidents and failures.
• Lead fault isolation, root cause analysis, and resolution for Cisco Nexus CORE network devices (N2K, N5K, N7K, N9K).
• Provide technical guidance to L1 engineers during critical situations.

Procedural Design & Documentation:

• Develop, document, and implement clear emergency procedures for responding to severe hardware failures (e.g., fan/thermal events).
• Ensure procedural readiness for rapid Data Center intervention during critical incidents.

Access Management & Compliance:

• Manage and maintain the Access Request (CAR ID) process or equivalent emergency access protocols.
• Ensure all access documentation and approvals are in place to prevent service delays during emergencies.

Data Center Access Coordination:

• Liaise with Data Center Operations and Customer Cage teams to pre-clear procedural dependencies.
• Ensure no barriers exist to immediate access for urgent network repair or recovery activities.

Operational Management:

• Support daily network operations and configuration management of Cisco network devices.
• Provide operational support for Cisco Firewall, Cisco ISE, and related systems.
• Maintain a basic understanding of Windows VMs used in operational environments.

Process Improvement:

• Drive ITIL-based process optimization, focusing on Incident, Problem, and Emergency Change Management.
• Identify and eliminate procedural bottlenecks that affect network uptime and availability.

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Skills:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Cisco Data Center network devices.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Nexus platforms (N2K, N5K, N7K, N9K).
• Working experience with Cisco Firewalls and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).

Certifications:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Mandatory.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Availability:

• Must be available to work in a 24x7 operations environment, including on-call rotation for critical issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and perform benchmarking and analysis to support engineering solutions
• Assist in installation, setup, and demonstration of products for customers, events, and exhibitions
• Support presales activities by understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable solutions
• Develop and implement solutions for machine vision and automation-related applications
• Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver effective technical solutions
• Conduct product training sessions and workshops for customers (beginner to intermediate level)
• Evaluate software and systems to ensure best practices are applied
• Support application development and expand use cases for assigned product groups
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant experience in technical support, presales, or machine vision/automation environment preferred
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience in customer-facing roles or technical support is an advantage
• Familiarity with industrial automation, robotics, or machine vision systems is a plus
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to travel within the region when required
