The first six years of a child's life shape everything that follows. For children from lower-income families, what happens in that window determines the trajectory. KidSTART exists to change those odds: personal home-based support, delivered by trained practitioners, built on evidence, and scaled nationally.

KidSTART completed its nationwide expansion in 2025. The programme now reaches families in all 24 towns, is scaling toward 80 per cent of eligible children in every birth cohort and has nearly tripled its practitioner base in two years. ABOUT THE ROLE

As Assistant Director for Programme Development, you will lead the thinking behind how KidSTART works, and where it is headed. You own the service model and the operational policies that govern how practitioners support families. You work directly with MSF in the strategic direction and hold accountability for programme outcomes across a network of implementing agencies, while also looking ahead to develop new or better services and programmes to better serve children from lower-income and/or vulnerable families.

This is not an execution role. It is the role that decides what gets executed. You will need to hold along view of what a good early childhood programme looks like on a national scale, while staying close enough to implementation to know when the model is not working.

Drive the review and continuous refinement of programme design, implementation quality, and outcomes measurement. Ensure that data on programme performance reaches the right people and informs real decisions, not just reports.

Funder and Agency Accountability

• Proficient in Revit/AutoCAD/Bluebeam/BIM360/ACC/Procore etc
• Thorough knowledge of optical theory, transport technologies, and the operation of optical transport systems and IP backbone network technologies
• Experience with optical network design, installation, and maintenance for service providers or global enterprise networks
• Experience with ICT design and construction administration for hyperscale data centers and global backbone network capacity enablement projects
• Data center design or relevant structured cabling design certifications (eg. BICSI RCDD)
• Registered Professional Engineering (PE) licensure in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines
• Advanced degree in engineering discipline
• Familiarity with the Linux based systems and experience with scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Perl)
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

Job Description

We are looking for Senior/Staff Software Engineers to grow our Edge AI & Systems software team to the next level. This team works within the larger ASIC team to architect and enhance Neural Network solutions in the Video Processor roadmap including these current and older products:

This position works in a smaller team that specifies, develops and delivers the toolchain that allows our customers and partners to develop or port AI models to run optimally on our Neural Processing Units.

Responsibilities

• Specify and develop new toolchain features for existing and new NPU architectures, working with the inference engine sub-team
• Enhance, maintain and support existing toolchain features, and modify model network layers for NPU optimality, working with the application engineering teams and sometimes customers/partners.
• Constantly improve productivity through automation in all areas

Skills

• Strong Python class based product development skills based on knowledge of design patterns
• Strong understanding of all aspects of a compiler and related development and debugging technologies, code generation, program analysis, and pipeline optimizations
• Good communication, collaboration, task estimation & reporting, CI/CD via tools such as Confluence, Git, JIRA etc.

Familiarity with the following is a plus:

• Deep Learning compilers like TVM
• Deep Learning framework - PyTorch
• Eclipse development for toolchain frontend
• CPU/DSP/GPU/NPU architectures

Requirements

1. Ph.D./MS/BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
2. At least 5 years of commercial development experience of which at least 3 are in compiler-related areas
