Job Roles

• Ensure all maintenance work performed adhere strictly to standards established by the company and any legal requirements.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance work on company vehicle.
• Conduct regular inspections on company vehicles to ensure reliability and to pass regulatory inspections and audits.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and repairs on vehicles to minimize downtime.
• Prepared to work the hours necessary to complete all tasks required to achieve Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR).
• Ensure strict adherence to all workplace Health & Safety policies, legal and company regulations, with proper documentation and storage.
• Practice safe work procedures and safety rules implemented at the workplace.
• Not to engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger self or others.
• Any ad-hoc assignments which may include driving bus under maintenance / replacement bus if required

Job Requirements

• Candidates must possess NITEC or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Prior experience in automotive or engineering environment would be advantageous.
• Entry level candidates may apply.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for senior technical specialist role.
• Candidates to have a valid Class 3/3A driving license.
• Able to perform shift work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance activities in a safe manner align with the Health and Safety Requirement of the company.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure that plant equipment and auxiliary systems continue to operate smoothly and efficiently.
• Perform repair or replacement of defective or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting - assisting and supporting engineers in rectifying/improving plant assets.
• Assist with the supervision of contractors involved in maintenance on site and maintain asset maintenance plans.
• Attend to work orders allocated by Mechanical Engineers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Nitec/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably 3 years of relevant experience in Power Plants, Petrochemical Plants or related industries will be advantageous.
• Self-driven, with a good working attitude, and a good team player.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Possessing basic safety training like Manage Work at Height (MWAH), Supervise Confined Space Operation (SCSO) & Supervise Work in Safety & Health in Process Plant (SWSHPP) would be an advantage.
• Possessing forklift driver license would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Operate the Combined Cycle Power Plant safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established operational guidelines to meet output requirements.

• Prepare for, execute, and monitor the startup, shutdown, and routine operations of generation units and auxiliary systems.

• Carry out condition monitoring, review operating parameters, and correct deviations to maintain optimal plant performance.

• Identify, report, and rectify all system, plant, and equipment defects.

• Ensure adherence to the plant’s generation dispatch schedule, conducting operational tests and inspections as required.

• Respond to plant emergencies, equipment failures, and outages.

• Manage generating unit operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety measures and specifications.

• Monitor work areas and inspect tools and equipment to detect and prevent unsafe conditions or violations of procedures and safety rules.

• Prepare daily shift log reports and other operational reports.

• Liaise with external agencies (e.g., EMA PSO, PUB, NEA, SCDF) on operational matters during shift duty.

Qualifications

• Nitec/ Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline.

• Knowledge of plant processes, operations, and safety protocols.

• Relevant experience in power plant operations, or related industries, is advantageous.

• Possession of a 2nd Grade Engineer (Steam) Certificate of Competency or a 1st Grade Engineer (Steam Combustion Engine) Certificate of Competency awarded by the Ministry of Manpower is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Maximo EAM or equivalent software.

• Strong analytical and communication skills, self-motivated, independent, and a team player.

• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
