Position overview

The System Engineer is responsible for end-to-end system-level quality, integrating cross-functional components, and ensuring efficient issue resolution and continuous system improvement. As the founding technical pillar of this 0-to-1 project, you will take complete ownership of the AMR mobile base system—from concept and prototype to large-scale commercial deployment. You will serve as the core technical hub connecting high-level navigation software, low-level hardware chassis, electrical design, sensor integration, and cross-team coordination with our existing drone division. As a Senior Linux Engineer / Team Lead, you are responsible to manage, maintain, and optimize our Linux-based infrastructure and associated technologies within our hybrid IT environment. • Develop KPI dashboards covering premium growth, loss ratio, claims performance, underwriting profitability, customer analytics, and operational metrics. 

• Build and optimize data models, reporting layers, and self-service analytics capabilities. 

• Work with Microsoft Fabric components including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, One Lake, Dataflows Gen2, Semantic Models, Notebooks, and Pipelines. 

• Support data integration, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, data quality, reconciliation, and governance initiatives. 

• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, actuarial, finance, risk, compliance, and technology teams. 

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting. 

• Hands-on experience in to BFSI domain  

• Strong experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Qlik Sense/QlikView, and Tableau. 

•  Strong SQL development skills with experience in query optimization. 

• Good understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, and Data Governance concepts. 

• Experience with Azure Data Services and cloud analytics platforms. 

• Knowledge of KPIs such as GWP, NWP, Loss Ratio, Combined Ratio, Claims Leakage, Claims Turnaround Time, and Customer Retention Metrics. 

• Experience with Python, Spark, Databricks, or Machine Learning will be an added advantage. 

• Relevant certifications in Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Engineering, Tableau, Qlik, or Insurance domain are preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide SAP functional expertise in the SD module for both local and regional operations.
• MM knowledge is an advantage.
• Responsible to deliver any SAP project/enhancement on time
• Responsible for System & Process governance include Validates as-is VS to-be process flows and system integration from the user perspective, identifies potential workarounds for system changes or limitations, assesses level of effort required to successfully implement changes to business processes and user activities.
• Responsible for business requirement gathering system design and providing solution to fulfil business requirement, and ensuring integration with other applications.
• Manage Deliverable documents (business blue print business flow diagram, functional specification, con-figuration, business process procedure and training documents to detail the business requirements)
• Responsible in validating test script and user coordination.
• Manage SAP Support ticket and ensure ticket closure& deliverable within agreed SLA
• Lead, facilitate or support system upgrading projects or new projects that introduce to regional subsidiaries
• Proactively propose system & process improvement

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of SD hands-on experience in SAP Support and at least one end-to-end implementation cycle.
• Strong in SD/OTC module with working experience in supporting users.
• Well Versed with SD/OTC module Masters, Tables, Configuration, User Exits & BAPI.
• Good Knowledge in the interfaces with external systems using IDOC, XML and Flat File. Ariba experience is an advantage.
• Analytical, meticulous and have good sense in business process & troubleshooting.
• Ability to articulate and communicate with people of all levels in the organization.
• Able to work independently and lead in projects.
• Willing to travel to support subsidiaries in regional countries if required.
