Our client is an expanding e-commerce internet firm. They are rapidly expanding into Singapore and are hiring experienced Software Engineers (SWE) to design and build internal systems and platforms including payment and AI integrations. This is a high impact role as part of an expanding team in Singapore where you'll work on high concurrency systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and build internal systems and platforms, including back-end systems supporting business operations, mobile game platforms, and core app functions (cashier, channel payments, gateway, settlement, and finance modules).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of back-end systems with front-end platforms, databases, and other internal systems.
• Design and implement web scraping systems to collect data from external websites, and develop RPA scripts to improve business operation efficiency.
• Write code to implement product features, complete project development end-to-end, and participate in requirements analysis.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of back-end systems; assist in tackling core technical challenges and technology solution selection.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including production environment troubleshooting, to ensure smooth system operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes, ensuring high standards of code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Document technical designs, implementation details, system configurations, and project documentation for internal use.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in Java backend development, with solid understanding of OOP, common design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Proficient in Java frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, SpringMVC, Struts, Hibernate, and MyBatis.
• Familiar with common internet technologies including MySQL, SQL, Kafka, Redis, RPC, MQ, caching technologies, Linux systems, and microservice architectures; experience with API development and integration is essential.
• Possess good coding and documentation habits, with attention to code style and a continuous focus on optimizing projects.
• Preferred: experience in internet e-commerce, payments/fintech, or high-concurrency processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges; ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional team members and facilitate issue resolution.

Job Responsibilities:

Technical Support

• Configure and maintain workstations and laptops.
• Provide software support for end users.
• Manage IT peripherals including printers, monitors, keyboards, mice etc.
• Perform technical asset audits.

Network & Connectivity Support

• Assist in troubleshooting wired and wireless network connection issues for office users.
• Maintain network equipment (switches, routers, access points).
• Coordinate with external vendors when as required.
• Assist with maintaining VPN configurations and remote access solutions.

IT Helpdesk & User Support

• Respond to IT support requests.
• Provide Tier-1 support for common IT issues.
• Document solutions and keep our internal knowledge base up to date.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems is a must; hands-on macOS experience is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
• Familiar with system installations, disk partitioning, and driver management.
• A great sense of responsibility, a collaborative mindset, and an eagerness to grow as an IT engineer.
• Conversational in using Chinese is a plus to collaborate effectively with our regional stakeholders.

Job Summary

The system administrator collaborates with IT and other teams to maintain and enhance the security, performance, and scalability of IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain server and network infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and robust security across all systems
• Configure and set up hardware including workstations, network devices, and servers to support operational needs
• Perform routine system maintenance, apply updates, and manage backups to ensure system reliability and data integrity
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to optimize existing IT processes and infrastructure

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems and network fundamentals to support system administration tasks
• Familiar with scripting languages such as Bash or Python to automate and streamline IT operations
• Familiar with infrastructure monitoring tools to track system health and performance
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies
