Senior Cook for halal catering company supporting Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high quality food with consistent taste and presentation while maintaining hygiene standards and efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in executing daily kitchen operations to maintain smooth workflow
• Prepare and cook assigned dishes following company standards to ensure quality and consistency
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, and presentation for all prepared dishes
• Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas to uphold hygiene and safety standards
• Monitor inventory stock levels and promptly report shortages to management
• Store and handle ingredients properly to preserve freshness and prevent contamination

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess Food Safety / Hygiene certification as required for safe food handling
• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience to perform cooking and kitchen duties effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Demonstrate good knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operations to support food preparation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Exhibit teamwork and effective communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff
