Job Summary:

• Responsible for managing, setup and optimizing instrument calibration to ensure all systems operate efficiently and meets performance standards.
• This includes supporting IndySoft (eCal), SAP development for calibration planning and spare parts management, as well as handling master data creation and maintenance, such as functional locations, instrument, maintenance plans.
• The role also involves collaborating with capital project teams and engineering groups to ensure that calibration-related master data aligns with project timelines, site requirements, and GMP standards

Responsibilities:

• Perform day to day planning and scheduling instrument calibrations.
• Review and modify the calibration program to enhance the instrument reliability.
• Initial corrective actions for instrumentation, control and repairs.
• Familiar and ensure all work conforms to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Manage and maintain the validated status of eCalibration system.
• Manage calibration/ E&I technicians to perform instrument calibration and troubleshooting according to SOP.
• Manage calibration SOP by generating, optimize and training of the procedures to technicians.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment on areas under one's responsibility.
• Lead and participant in deviation investigation.
• Lead and participant in change control process.
• Coordinating with vendors and suppliers for calibration services and spare part procurement.
• Ensuring all calibration activities are performed safely, adhering to company safety policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant in Engineering
• Knowledge and experience of S4/HANA.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Maintenance/calibration Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in GMP/Pharmaceutical environment.
• Experience in developing calibration procedures/program in green field plant.

⦁ Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical and electronic components of IBMS and Fire Alarm Systems.

⦁ Perform electrical and electronic system testing, calibration, and fine-tuning to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve issues during the installation phase to ensure smooth system startup.

⦁ Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical support for installed IBMS and Fire Alarm Systems.

⦁ Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault diagnostics for electrical/electronic systems.

⦁ Ensure minimal downtime and effective resolutions for system failures or malfunctions.

⦁ Assist with project planning, including estimating electrical and electronic system requirements and preparing cost estimates.

⦁ Work closely with project managers to ensure all electrical components of the IBMS and Fire Alarm systems are delivered on time and within budget.

⦁ Participate in the preparation of project documentation and reports.

⦁ Ensure all electrical and electronic designs and installations comply with local and international electrical codes, fire safety regulations, and industry standards.

⦁ Work with certification agencies to ensure systems are certified for use in commercial and residential buildings.

⦁ Stay updated with emerging technologies in electrical, electronic, and fire alarm systems, and recommend innovative solutions to improve system functionality and efficiency.

⦁ Provide technical support to clients, including system training and guidance on maintenance practices.

⦁ Ensure the end-user has a complete understanding of the system’s operation and maintenance needs.
