What You’ll Own

Facilities & maintenance

• Ensure the retail and office spaces are consistently presentable and fully functional, maintaining a clean, tidy and professional environment for customers and staff.

• Carry out daily walkthroughs of the office, showroom and vault areas to identify and address maintenance, cleanliness and safety issues.

• Support with the maintenance and upkeep of physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms and locking mechanisms, escalating faults promptly to management.

• Personally carry out hands-on repairs, fixes, assembly and minor installation work wherever you can, fixing faults, assembling furniture and fittings, mounting equipment and handling everyday maintenance yourself.

• Where required, coordinate and supervise repairs, servicing and preventive maintenance of building systems, air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, lighting and general fittings etc.

• Manage relationships with external contractors and service vendors, schedule their work, and verify quality on completion.

Health, safety & compliance

• Ensure premises comply with workplace health, safety and fire-safety regulations, and maintain related records and certifications.

• Conduct and document routine safety checks of required safety equipment, emergency exits, first-aid supplies and signage etc.

• Support emergency preparedness, including evacuation procedures and incident response.

Administration

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, service contracts, warranties, inspections and facilities-related expenditure.

• Track and help manage the facilities budget, sourcing quotes and supporting cost-effective procurement.

• Help process facility-related invoices, checking them against work done or goods received and passing them on for approval and payment.

• Provide general support for office moves, space planning and equipment setup as required.

• Support projects that involve the physical premises — such as renovations, shop fit-outs, relocations and the installation of new equipment or systems — getting hands-on with the practical work, coordinating contractors, and keeping disruption to daily operations to a minimum.

The Executive, Engagement & Marketing will support the activation and promotion of programmes and initiatives at Woodlands RecreationCentre (WRC). The role focuses on strengthening WRC’s outreach, visitor engagement and partnerships through social media marketing, content creation, event support and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

The Executive will play a key role in curating weekly activities, building community partnerships and supporting efforts to increase awareness, participation and overall footfall at WRC.

Key Responsibilities

1) Marketing & Social Media Management

• Manage and maintain WRC’s social media platforms and digital outreach channels.
• Develop engaging content including posters, videos, reels, photography and promotional materials to market WRC activities and initiatives.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns to improve visitor engagement and increase awareness of WRC programmes.
• Monitor social media trends, engagement performance and visitor responses to improve outreach strategies.
• Support the preparation of eDMs, publicity materials and promotional collaterals for events and campaigns.

2) Events & Visitor Engagement

• Assist in planning, coordinating and supporting weekly programmes and activities to drive footfall and visitor participation at WRC.
• Curate engaging recreational, cultural, sports and community-based activities targeted at migrant workers.
• Support on-ground event operations including setup, registration, crowd engagement and event coordination.
• Work closely with the Operations and Programming team to ensure smooth execution of activities and activations.
• Gather visitor feedback and ground observations to improve future programmes and visitor experience.

3) Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement

• Reach out to and establish working relationships with NGOs, community groups, sponsors, volunteers, corporate partners and service providers.
• Identify collaboration opportunities that can bring value-added programmes and resources to WRC.
• Coordinate with external partners on event participation, sponsorship support and engagement initiatives.
• Support volunteer recruitment and coordination efforts for WRC activities and programmes.

4) Content Creation & Branding

• Support photography and videography coverage during WRC activities and events.
• Assist in maintaining a consistent branding and communication style across WRC materials and platforms.
• Develop content highlighting WRC programmes, success stories and community engagement efforts.
• Assist in building WRC’s public image and online presence through creative and engaging digital content.

5) Administrative & Reporting Support

• Maintain event schedules, engagement records and partnership databases.
• Assist in preparing reports, event summaries and monthly engagement statistics.
• Support procurement coordination and administrative documentation related to marketing and events.
• Perform other duties assigned to support the operational and engagement needs of WRC.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, Community Development or related disciplines.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in marketing, social media management, event coordination or community engagement will be advantageous.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in community engagement and digital marketing are welcome to apply.

3. Donor Stewardship & Relationship Management

• Manage the donor database (CRM) to track giving history, process tax-deductible receipts, and ensure PDPA compliance.

• Draft high-quality communication materials, including donor newsletters, annual reports, and formal appreciation letters.

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in fundraising, corporate sales, or account management. Candidates with a track record of meeting sales/fundraising targets are highly preferred.

• Language Proficiency: Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin (Required to engage with our significant pool of Mandarin-speaking donors and community stakeholders).
