OVERVIEW                                        

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and detail-oriented Fundraiser to lead and expand our fundraising efforts, with a strong emphasis on grant writing, institutional fundraising, and foundation outreach. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission and experienced in building relationships with foundations, trusts, and other institutional donors. They will also play a key role in identifying and applying for fundraising support grants, including matching grant schemes and event-based funding opportunities, to amplify donor impact and extend our fundraising reach. RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Grants Management

• Research, identify, and qualify prospective grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.

• Prepare compelling, tailored grant proposals, applications, and reports to foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

2. Foundation & Institutional Donor Outreach

3. General Fundraising & Development Support

• Maintain accurate donor and grant records in the DMS database.

• A strategic approach to leveraging grants to multiply donor impact.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, or related field.

o Organising and maintaining files and records relating to policies, procedures, contracts and forms and updating them when necessary;

o Overseas travel coordination & administration;

o Sort and process incoming / outgoing mails;

o Managing office supplies and placing orders for replacements;

o Contracts and equipment management;

o Procurement matters involving small value purchases or invitation-to-quote;

o Onboarding of new staff (e.g. equipment deployment, systems account setup, preparation of onboarding materials etc.)

o Act as the point of contact between SMI and internal/external parties;

o Liaison officer with MPA facilities team on office security, fire safety (e.g. Fire Warden) and annual power maintenance;
