Principal Engineer / Manager, Defect Detection & Yield Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Lead defect detection and yield improvement initiatives across semiconductor manufacturing operations.

• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and quality excursions.

• Analyze defect and yield data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

• Partner with Process, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve operational performance.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related discipline.

• 7+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, yield, process, or defect engineering experience.

• Experience in defect analysis, process monitoring, and yield improvement.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage, supervise and guide the design engineers and drafting team to maintain drafting standards and workflows in accordance to company standards.
• Reviewing and advising on designs, co-ordinate designs related matters with consultants and client, ensuring the designs meeting regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Manage and communicate with internal/external project teams including relevant Authorities and relevant parties about design works and project schedule.
• Lead, develop and provide training to junior engineers.
• Understand and manage client requirements.
• Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant Statutory standards, Regulations and Codes of Practices.
• Plan, check, monitor and report on design progress.
• Chairing design meetings, writing reports and giving presentations.
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior(s).

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (Certificates must be recognized by PE Board).
• At least 10 years of relevant working experience. Relevant experience in construction planning and program coordination in LTA railway and road projects would be advantageous.
• Familiar with Codes of Practice, relevant regulations and submission requirements.
• Highly experienced and proficient in the use of Primavera P6 for project planning.
• Competent user of relevant design software such as Plaxis, Tekla Structure Designer, Tekla TEDDS, Autodesk- Robot Analysis.
• Independent, result-oriented and self-driven team player with good communication skills.
• Leadership skills, decisiveness and emotional maturity.
• The salary package is commensurate with working experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Space Planning & Layout Development

• Develop and review space planning layouts
• Conduct test fits and propose design options
• Ensure user requirements are reflected in architectural drawings
• Coordinate furniture, fittings, and equipment (FFE) requirements

2. User Engagement & Requirements Gathering

• Facilitate and attend planning meetings with stakeholders
• Capture and translate user requirements into structured outputs
• Prepare meeting minutes, track decisions, and follow up on action items
• Identify and flag design gaps or conflicts early

3. Documentation & Presentation

• Prepare presentation slides for stakeholders and management
• Produce clear reports, summaries, and planning documents
• Support internal submissions and approvals

4. Design Coordination & Compliance

• Review drawings for compliance with regulations and standards
• Liaise with consultants on design clarifications
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing records

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture or related built environment discipline
• Strong ability to read architectural drawings (plans, sections, layouts)
• Good spatial planning and layout thinking skills

Responsibilities: 

• Risk & Control Management: Oversee Risk & Control functions across Asia South CG/CPC Operations (Core Ops, Citiphone, and Credit Ops).

• Control Framework Enhancement: Strengthen existing controls, maintain audit-readiness, and lead internal and external audits. Implement advanced tools, including AI, to enhance controls across teams.

• Enterprise Standards: Contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise-wide standards and strategies for the Bank's Risk and Control program.

• Guidance and Collaboration: Provide guidance to global partners and collaborate with Risk and Control teams for effective monitoring.

• Risk Identification & Assessment: Manage frameworks for identifying and assessing all types of risks (processing, emerging, operational) and regulatory compliance across lines of business, particularly for transaction monitoring.

• Strategic Initiatives & Projects: Lead strategic program implementations and cross-functional projects for the Global Monitoring Risk Management & Policy team, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Manage and execute strategic design and process improvement projects across the enterprise.

• Controls Program Development: Support the design, development, and continuous enhancement of Citi's comprehensive controls program, focusing on efficiency and risk reduction.

• Risk Appetite Alignment: Coordinate with stakeholders to assess and mitigate potential risks, ensuring operations remain within the firm's defined Risk Appetite, considering business environment changes and regulatory requirements.

• Subject Matter Expertise & Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert for senior stakeholders and team members. Manage, plan, and execute project deliverables, and oversee team activities.

• Management Updates: Prepare timely and clear updating materials for Risk and Controls matters and represent Wealth Ops at various forums.

• Autonomy: Operate with independence of judgment and minimal direct supervision.

Qualifications: 

• Experience: 6-10 years of experience in Risk and Control within financial services, with a demonstrated understanding of AML and operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions.

• Control Expertise: Strong knowledge and proven experience in developing, executing, and implementing sustainable control solutions in the financial industry.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices, as well as Citi's Policies, Standards, and Procedures.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities.

• Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage and present effectively to senior management.

• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Organizational Skills: Advanced organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow up.
