Our client is a leading industrial equipment and manufacturing organisation with a strong regional footprint and they are seeking an experienced Group Finance Manager.

The Role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for overseeing management reporting, analysis, and SGX‑related compliance activities while managing a lean, high‑performing finance team.

• Lead the management reportingprocess, including analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financialperformance across multiple business units.
• Prepare Board papers, financialpresentations, and insights for senior leadership discussions.
• Oversee SGX reportingrequirements, ensuring compliance with listing rules and timely submissions.Manage the preparation of annual reports and statutory filings.
• Perform in‑depth analysis ofresults across different BUs and provide strategic recommendations.
• Ensure high‑quality consolidationprocesses and accurate reporting of group financials. Supervise and mentor alean finance team, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Partner closely with regionalfinance teams across Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Japan to ensure alignmentand consistency in reporting standards.
• Drive continuous improvement infinancial processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.

Your Profile

As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accounting/Finance, Chartered Accountant (CA), SCTP, ACCA, or equivalent qualification in taxation/accountancy with the following relevant experience:

• Prior Big 4 audit experience is essential with strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in supporting group management reporting, annual budgets as well as board presentations.
• Prior experience working in a mainboard‑listed environment, with proficiency in SGX reporting standards and requirements.
• Exposure to a manufacturing or inventory‑based environment is preferred but not a must.
• Proven regional exposure across markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, China, and Japan.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels, including regional finance teams and senior management.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to balance operational and strategic responsibilities.
• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing a lean team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENT:

·       Preferable at least 15years of relevant working experience in the stock exchange (US & HK market)or public equity investment background

·       Strong quantitativeand financial modelling background with hands on experience on buildingtactical asset allocation models

·       Strong communicationskills (English & Chinese) to liaise with Chinese-speaking director(s)

Job Scope

• The Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) plays a critical support role in assisting Relationship Managers (RMs) to effectively manage Private Banking clients.
• This position encompasses a wide range of activities, including sales, customer service, and administration, ensuring seamless service delivery to clients and supporting RMs in meeting business objectives

Job Description

• Client Relationship Management: Engage with clients to deepen relationships and enhance satisfaction, contributing to long-term client retention.
• Support for Client Onboarding & Account Servicing: Assist RMs in the onboarding of new clients and managing account servicing needs, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
• Administrative Support: Handle transaction processing, report generation, and manage sales/account information, all while adhering to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Sales & Cross-Selling: Support the development of Assets Under Management (AUM) by cross-selling products and referring account opportunities to RMs.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all actions align with internal controls, external regulations, and compliance standards, maintaining the highest level of service.
• Backup for RM: In the absence of an RM, act as the back-up to ensure uninterrupted client service and operational consistency.

Qualifications & Educational Requirement

• Experience in private banking or financial services is preferred, though not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
• Additional Information:
• The ARM will typically support 2-3 RMs, based on rank, tenure, and experience level.
