We are looking for a disciplined Finance Executive to manage our core accounting functions. While the initial focus is on mastering the transactional lifecycle (AR, AP, and Month-End), this role has the potential to progress towards strategic reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable: End-to-end processing of vendor invoices, expense claims, and payment cycles.
2. Accounts Receivable: Accurate invoicing, payment application, and proactive aging management/collections.
3. Full Set Closing: Preparation of month-end journals (accruals, prepayments) and bank reconciliations to ensure a clean General Ledger.
4. Compliance: Assist with tax filings preparation.
5. Evolutionary Tasks: As you master the basics, you will take on variance analysis, cash flow forecasting, and process automation projects.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of finance experience in the retail/healthcare industry preferred.

• Candidates with relevant experience will be considered for a senior position.

• Degree/Diploma in Finance/Accounting and proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs).

• Experience with Xero will be an advantage.

• Capability: High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict month-end deadlines.

• Aptitude: A logical thinker who looks beyond data entry to understand the business impact.

• Attitude: Proactive, resilient, and eager to transition from doing to analyzing.

Job Descriptions

• Assist in issuing invoices using ERP system for local & oversea subsidiaries
• Record AR receipts into the accounting system and ensure up-to-date records
• Generate payment vouchers according to the payment cycle
• Ensure AP ageing is updated
• Review, check and verify staff claims
• Check vendors’ Statement of Accounts and ensure no invoices are omitted
• Assist in month end closing activities e.g., GL, accrual, prepayment entries
• Prepare and record all business transactions
• Maintain and review property asset & capital
• GST quarterly filling for Singapore registered entities and SST filing for overseas entities
• Work closely with local subsidiaries/auditors/tax agents/vendors to ensure that all financial transactions and records are in accordance with applicable local accounting standards, as well as statutory and tax requirements

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accountancy or relevant discipline.
• Experience with full sets of accounts, including consolidation
• Experience analyzing financial statements and can identity errors in financial reporting

Executive, Finance (Accounts Receivable)

Responsibilities:

• In-charge of opening and maintenance of Accounts Receivable accounts
• Process Invoices / Debit Notes / Credit Notes
• Ensure completeness of Invoices / Debit notes / Credit notes
• Ensure documentations are in compliance with GST / Accounting standards / Audit requirements
• Update collections from customers
• Perform monthly closing of Accounts Receivable
• Monitor and follow up with customers payment status
• Send Statements of Accounts
• Prepare sales and Accounts Receivable management reports
• Carry out tasks / ad hoc projects assigned by immediate manager

Requirements:

• Advanced / Diploma in Accounting or LCCI
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Accounting software
• Meticulous and effective in time management
• Able to perform routine tasks
