Job Responsibilities:
This person manages daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support month-end closings. Oversee payments, billing, and cash flow while maintaining compliance and supporting audits—keeping the company’s finances accurate and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle daily accounting functions, managing partial or full sets of accounts to ensure timely and accurate month-end closings.
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other related transactions.
- Perform intercompany billing, ensuring accurate invoicing, reconciliations, and timely settlements.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accruals, prepayments, and finance costs.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare quarterly GST reports.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare payment forecasts for financial planning.
- Assist with audits and tax filings, compiling necessary schedules and reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Any other assignment as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience; experience in freight forwarding or logistics is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
