What You’ll Do

• Claims Coordination

  • Liaise with insurers on claim submissions, documentation, and liability verification.

  • Track claim status, follow up proactively, and secure timely approvals.

• Estimation & Negotiation

  • Prepare and submit repair cost estimates with supporting documents/photos.

  • Negotiate coverage scope and repair costs with insurers/surveyors when required.

  • Finalise repair costs in collaboration with surveyors and workshop.

• Repair & Workshop Support

  • Coordinate repair workflow with workshop colleagues; ensure repair quality and documentation completeness.

  • Manage invoicing and paperwork for repairs and claims settlement.

• Customer & Case Management

  • Communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders on claim processes, timelines, and required documents.

  • Arrange surveyor inspections and coordinate replacement vehicle release when needed.

  • Assist in managing accident-related phone calls and reporting of accidents.

• Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records, filing, and reports for claims, estimates, invoices, and supporting documents.

  • Handle ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year experience in claims administration, motor insurance, accident reporting, or similar automotive/insurance operations role.

• Strong understanding of motor claim workflows, documentation requirements, and insurer coordination.

• Detail-oriented with good follow-up discipline and stakeholder management skills.

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance 

• Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with SFRS/IFRS. 

• Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting, tax filing, and regulatory requirements in Singapore and other jurisdictions as the group expands. 

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial service providers. 

Management & Performance Reporting 

• Prepare consolidated management reports, including variance analysis, KPIs tracking, and commentary on financial performance against budget and forecast. 

• Develop and maintain financial dashboards to support operational decision-making by the CFO and other business leaders. 

Budgeting & Forecasting 

• Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads. 

• Monitor actual performance against budget, identify risks and opportunities, and propose corrective actions. 

Post-Acquisition Integration 

• Support the finance integration of acquired companies, particularly those in China, ensuring alignment of accounting policies, ERP systems, and internal controls. 

• Work closely with the local finance teams in China to harmonize reporting standards and streamline consolidation. 

Internal Controls & Process Improvement 

• Enhance and document internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. 

• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes, leveraging technology to automate and scale. 

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management 

• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and working capital to optimize liquidity and support operational needs. 

• Assist in managing banking relationships and financing arrangements. 

Team Leadership & Development 

• Supervise and mentor a small finance team (e.g., accountants, analysts) in Singapore. 

• Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous learning. 

Qualifications & Experience 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent is strongly preferred. 

• Experience: 

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role. 

• Prior experience in manufacturing, MedTech, CDMO, or life sciences industries is highly desirable. 

• Experience working in a private equity-backed company or exposure to M&A/post-acquisition integration is a strong plus. 

• Familiarity with cross-border operations (especially China-Singapore) is advantageous. 

• Technical Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of SFRS/IFRS and Singapore tax regulations. 

• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel. 

• Soft Skills: 

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. 

• High integrity and attention to detail. 

• Language: Fluency in English is required; Mandarin proficiency is a plus to facilitate communication with Chinese counterparts.
