• Support inspection, testing, and commissioning activities

Safety Compliance (MOM Requirements)

• Enforce workplace safety rules and company safety policies
• Conduct toolbox meetings and ensure proper PPE usage
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near-misses

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers for site execution
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and manpower updates

Mandatory Requirement 

• Mechanical Engineering or related technical qualification
• 3–4years’ relevant site supervision experience
• Knowledge of mechanical installation and commissioning works
• Familiar with Singapore MOM safety requirements
• Ability to supervise foreign workers and coordinate site activities

Work Location - Island
Working Hours : Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm
Saturday 8am to 12am

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to complete the repair scheme in accordance with the requirements & instructions of Rolls-Royce Engine Manuals (e.g. SPM - Standard Practices Manual, SB – Service Bulletin) & TV (Technical Variance)

• Operation of special tools for the replacement of shank nuts on aero engine components

• Operation of specific tooling for installation, inspection & torque check during the replacement of wirethread inserts on aero engine components

• Operation of precision jig and fixtures for the replacement of engine spares (studs, pins, pads, washers, liners, bushings etc.) on aero engine components

• Operation of pneumatic tools (die grinders & air drills etc.) for repair and precision inspection instrument for quality control in minor damage repair on aero engine components

• Understand and strict adherence to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

• Health & Safety practices (E.g. Personnel Protection Equipment, Chemical storage, Hand Tools storage)

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in aero engine components/parts hand fitter/mechanic experience

• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines

• Able to interpret engineering drawings

• Good command of written English and engineering analytical skill

• Responsible for the programming, set-up, and operation of coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) to ensure accurate measurement of aero engine components in accordance with the requirements & instructions of Rolls-Royce Engine Manuals

• Apply advanced logic and methodologies in the development and optimization of CMM programs (Modus is preferable)

• Effectively identify, analyze, and resolve programming-related issues that arise

• Perform routine maintenance and calibration checks on CMM as required

• Complete inspection documentation and report discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and quality standards

• Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean, tidy and organized workspace

Requirements:

• Setting up and operating the Vibro-Polishing Machine

• Monitoring the machining cycle to ensure quality

• Familiar in checking the surface finish using suitable surface finish measuring machine

• Performing quality inspections of finished products

• Conducting routine machine maintenance
