This position is within GlobalFoundries RF Design Enablement team with focus on ground rule development and Silicon Validation (GRV).The Ground Rule Validation (GRV) is part of the Design Manual Engineering (DME)/Design Enablement team that creates and supports the Design Rules based on technological, manufacturing and business considerations. The Design Manual Engineering (DME) team is a very dynamic and international team of experts, involved in development projects with the US, Germany, and Singapore manufacturing sites.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Program Managers, Manufacturing teams (Process Integration), Customer engineers, Benchmarking teams to identify and understand the key technological features that need to be controlled and secured by Design Rules.

• Create layout Designs of Experiment (DoE) and design Test Structures that will be delivered on Test vehicles.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced M&E Engineer / Senior M&E Engineer to support the execution of building services projects across commercial and industrial developments. The successful candidate will be involved in the full project lifecycle — from engineering coordination and design review through to site supervision and commissioning.

Candidates with experience in Singapore building M&E projects are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate M&E engineering drawings, technical submissions, and specifications
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on project execution and technical matters
• Monitor and supervise site progress, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety, and quality standards
• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of M&E systems
• Ensure adherence to Singapore authority requirements including BCA, SCDF, PUB, and EMA guidelines
• Support project meetings, documentation, material submissions, and progress reporting
• Assist in resolving technical and site coordination issues

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent
• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant M&E building project experience in Singapore
• Familiar with ACMV, electrical power and lighting, fire protection and alarm, plumbing and sanitary, and ELV systems
• Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM and CSD coordination preferred
• Sound knowledge of local codes of practice and authority submission requirements
• Good communication and coordination skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
