• Provide Level 2 technical support for IMACS systems, including CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, and backend IT infrastructure (servers, storage, network).

Your role in our team

• Project Development and Management: The Development Engineer is responsible for the early phases of refinery capital investment projects. This includes conducting technical and business evaluations, preparing investment concepts, and leading pre-study and feasibility studies. The ultimate goal is to finalize the project scope for definition and execution decisions.

• Project Lifecycle Responsibility: The Development Engineer's accountability extends throughout the entire project lifecycle. This encompasses overseeing pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up planning, ensuring a smooth transition from development to operation.

• Act as the lead engineer and primary point of contact for direct communication with Infineon’s key customers regarding MEMS package technology.
• Perform process development activities (including parameter scouting, optimization, verification, and process freeze) within development projects to achieve targets related to timeline, quality, cost competitiveness, and manufacturability.
• Define and drive technical specifications (BOM, package design, assembly process) for MEMS package projects involving major changes, risks, or new introductions.
• Lead a global team of process development engineers to successfully execute multiple MEMS package NPI (New Product Introduction) projects. Share your technical expertise and foster professional growth within your team.
• Serve as the partner and technical consultant for package definition activities, collaborating closely with the Business Division, particularly on aspects of MEMS and Silicon Microphone back-end (BE) assembly technology.
• Provide support during the pre-development and project definition stages, maintaining your role as the package design expert throughout the project lifecycle.
• Innovate novel MEMS package concepts, leveraging your experience as a technical leader.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or similar).
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in MEMS and other package technology development.
• Demonstrated success and proven track record in developing innovative MEMS Silicon Microphone technologies.
• Experience in representing your company as a MEMS package expert, with direct communication to Tier 1 customers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MEMS packaging processes, materials, and equipment engineering.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of process development engineers in MEMS package development across regions.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with OSATs (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test providers) in package development projects.
• Expertise in Failure Analysis and Reliability Engineering methodologies.

The Duties of Packaging Development Engineer are:

• Create, review, and maintain internal specifications (BOM/end-item) aligned with customer requirements, ensuring accuracy before production
• Manage BOM quantities in coordination with Finance, Production, and Planning teams
• Maintain and update system data (e.g. QAD/Alchemist)
• Support troubleshooting of tooling, process, and specification issues, including customer complaints
• Review and update specifications for new or revised artwork changes
• Liaise with customers, internal teams, and external vendors on artwork requirements and printing plate preparation
• Prepare colour standards for customer approval
• Improve prepress processes and develop SOPs

Requirement

Vendor Relations: Experience working with vendors for equipment setup, troubleshooting, and upgrades >3years.

Experience: 6+ years of semiconductor experience working with Ebeam inspection

Education: Master’s or PHD Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Micro Electronics or Physics field are preferred
