Job Description

We are looking for a Cyber Range Engineer focused on designing, building, and running realistic cyber range scenarios that reflect current threat activity. This role is hands-on and adversary-minded: you will translate threat landscape reporting and real-world TTPs into end-to-end exercise content (attack paths, injects and artifacts).

Responsibilities

• Create/Develop Cyber Range scenarios based on current threat landscape, adversary trends and relevant risk.
• Create realistic exercise artefacts and injects (e.g., phishing emails, malicious documents, command histories, web logs, domain activity, cloud audit events, IAM changes) to support Blue Team exercises.
• Validate scenario functionality in the range: ensure dependencies are in place, paths execute as intended, and “teachable moments” are aligned to learning objectives.
• Support exercise execution and facilitation.
• Assist with dry runs and rehearsals, adjust scenario pacing, and provide technical support during live execution.
• Record outcomes, key timelines, and notable participant actions for post-exercise review.
• Maintain accurate documentation of scenario packages, threat mappings (e.g., ATT&CK), prerequisites, and known issues/edge cases.
• Contribute to post-exercise reporting by providing the attack narrative, evidence trail, expected vs observed detections, and improvement recommendations for detection/response.
• Understand best practices in hardening, policy configurations for organisations.

Requirements

1 to 2 years of experience in one or more of the following:

• security operations / incident response support
• penetration testing / red teaming / purple teaming
• detection engineering labs / cyber range / CTF scenario development

Added Advantage (Preferred Knowledge / Skills)

• Windows and Linux fundamentals, including common logging sources (Windows Event Logs, Sysmon concepts, Linux auth logs).
• Networking fundamentals (IP addressing, DNS, HTTP/S, routing, segmentation concepts).
• Familiarity with adversary techniques and frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, kill chain concepts).
• Practical scripting capability for repeatability/automation (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), especially audit/logging concepts.
• Exposure to security tooling and telemetry sources.
• EDR concepts (e.g., CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, SentinelOne)
• SIEM/log platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Elastic/Wazuh)
• Network/security controls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and relevant log types

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions to support AI storage, data security, and AI computing platforms.
• Design and optimise scalable data and AI platforms, including distributed storage systems, secure data environments, and high-performance computing infrastructure.
• Develop and enhance machine learning models and analytical methodologies to support business use cases.
• Establish and manage end-to-end data workflows, including data extraction, integration, transformation, and validation across multiple sources.
• Evaluate, validate, and optimise AI/ML model performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust AI and data solutions.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across AI systems and data platforms.
• Optimise system performance across storage, compute, and model deployment layers.
• Gain insights into the development trends of AI, data infrastructure, and security technologies, and plan product evolution directions.
• To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team

Requirements:

• Master degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8–10 years of experience in IT, with relevant experience in AI, data platforms, or data storage.
• At least 2 years of experience in high-availability, mission-critical transaction systems. Experience in financial services environments is required due to the nature of the business.
• A deep understanding of the training process of AI foundation models and the collaboration architecture between GPU clusters and storage systems is required.
• Familiarity with distributed or high-performance storage systems (e.g. Ceph, Lustre, or similar solutions).
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in team leadership in a technical environment is required, along with strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in large-scale technology or platform-based environments is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.

We currently have an opening for a Capacity Engineer (Data Center) role, to support capacity planning for the Data Center team of our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank.

Responsibilities:

• Generate weekly reports to analyze DC infrastructure demands in the APAC region.
• Download and analyze the infrastructure demands provided by the Project Manager, and follow up with requestors to rectify them as per the corresponding comments/shortfalls raised.
• Monitor high-risk locations and question discrepancies.
• Assess demands for server additions in data centers, including checking respective data center capacity, tech refresh, installing new servers, and decommissioning old ones.
• Monitor project implementation within designated timelines.
• Track power consumption and physical rack space, including assessing maximum and current capacities for both power and rack space.
• Calculate the record rack space and power consumption values based the demands for each data center location.
• Coordinate equipment placement (EP) to ensure optimal utilization of resources.
• Address defects, ensuring all necessary information, such as justification and associated risks, is provided for approval in each demand.
• Manage decommission reports and ensure accurate data cleanup in the demand central system.
• Generate weekly and monthly reports on data center demands, defects, ad-hoc requests, and project pending fulfillment.
• Compile EP data and convert it into actionable insights for capacity planning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in capacity planning, data center operations, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and equipment is preferred.
