Job Description
Ramboll is part of an EPC project, where we are working as client’s engineer for the EPC contractor located in Singapore. The Mechanical Engineering lead will act as will act as a representative for the EPC contractor during design execution at EPC contractors office in Singapore.

In your role as Mechanical engineering lead, your focus will be to ensure and oversee that the fabrication of the piping, layout, HVAC and mechanical aspects for the structure adheres to all prepared specifications and technical requirements as per the contract. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries, any non- conformances, facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

As such, in your role, you will:

• Visit the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks.
• Shall be integrated into the EPC engineering team.
• Where required, liaise and coordinate Mechanical tasks with Suppliers, EPC Contractor and other disciplines
• Troubleshooting / solution finding during fabrication conflicts.

• Review costs for change orders, and progress claims when required.

Job Qualifications / Skills
You must have a result-oriented, proactive and systematic approach to your work. You should enjoy working both independently and together with your colleagues and stake holders from both the engineering team and the EPC team thus experience in both design and installation/commissioning is preferred. You will engage with multiple stakeholders during the execution, thus teamwork is essential to achieve results.

Furthermore, you must:

• Have minimum a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Have minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical offshore engineering – preferably with offshore substations – combined with managing and overseeing mechanical fabrication at a fabrication site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commissioning & Testing

Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for cable layequipment such as:

- Prepare commissioning reports, test records, and punch lists

5. Coordination & Collaboration

• Perform Lead Engineer's role for rotating equipment/packages on offshore projects.

Job Description

In your role as Electrical Engineering Lead / Manager, your focus will be to ensure that the installation and commissioning of the LV & MV Electrical systems and electrical control systems portion of the mechanical systems adheres to the technical requirements and the design already developed by the engineering contractor. As such, it will be your responsibility to follow up on progress, site queries non-conformance, SATand commissioning activities and facilitate minor adjustment as needed and daily technical clarifications. In doing so, you shall collaborate closely with representatives from the EPC contractor, the fabrication contractor, the engineering contractor, Suppliers and other disciplines and representatives from the client as required.

• Visit to the fabrication yard and provide reliable information to the project manager regarding significant technical issues, particularly risks.
