They are looking for a Solutions Engineer who will play a key role in delivering end-to-end technical solutions across pre-sales and project execution phases. Acting as the technical bridge between Sales, Engineering, and Operations, this role transforms customer requirements into compliant, efficient, and cost-effective HVAC and building systems solutions. The position involves solution design, technical proposal development, testing and commissioning support, and close engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1) Solution Design & Pre-Sales Engineering

• Review project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to develop optimized HVAC and building system solutions.
• Perform system engineering activities such as load calculations, system sizing, equipment selection, and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation.
• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to gather essential design inputs.
• Partner with Sales teams to provide technical advice, value engineering alternatives, and solution recommendations.
• Present technical solutions, system architectures, and design concepts to clients, consultants, and partners.

2) Technical Proposal & Tender Support

• Prepare comprehensive technical submissions including proposals, compliance statements, method statements, and datasheets.
• Review tender documentation to ensure full alignment with contractual, statutory, and project requirements.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to validate technical feasibility and assumptions.
• Support tender clarifications, technical negotiations, and value engineering discussions.

3) Testing, Commissioning & Technical Support

• Provide technical support during system testing, commissioning, and performance verification stages.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to HVAC and building systems.
• Develop alternative or workaround solutions to overcome site constraints, system limitations, or operational challenges.
• Offer on-site and remote technical assistance during critical project phases.

4) Technical Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation such as design reports, commissioning records, incident reports, and operation manuals.
• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, compliance status, and installed solutions.
• Conduct technical training for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Contribute to standard solution frameworks, technical templates, and best-practice libraries.

5) Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Serve as the technical liaison across Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and After-Sales teams.
• Provide timely technical updates and highlight risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Share field insights and customer feedback to support product and solution enhancements.
• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and client engagements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, BMS, CRAC, or building systems solution engineering, pre-sales, or technical support roles.
• Solid understanding of HVAC and building services systems, including mechanical and electrical principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and presentations.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or BIM tools for drawing interpretation and design review.
• Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and system performance validation processes.

This role plays a key part in advancing molding automation through machine design, robotics, and new manufacturing technologies.

Our Team

You will be part of the Automation & Assembly team, working closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Maintenance, QA, Operations, Product Design, and global Molex teams. You will also engage external vendors and suppliers on automation and machine development projects.

Your Job

As a Senior Engineer, Metrology, you will be responsible for overseeing all measurement aspects to ensure precision and quality. In this role, you will provide measurement and analysis services to internal and external customers, maintain and enhance equipment and facilities, and contribute as a subject matter expert in metrology. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop inspection plan and schedule for piping & static equipment in collaboration with Operations & Maintenance department
• Conduct planned inspections & NDE of pressure vessel, storage tanks, piping and relief valve to assess equipment condition and identify internal/ external corrosion or defects
• Recommend repairs or inspection frequency and monitor operational reliability to prevent any failure/leakage and achieve mechanical integrity in line with ASME PCC and other relevant codes
• Coordinate with NDT contractors on job scope needed to support inspection work requirements
• Record inspection findings and prepare detailed reports inside inspection data management system
• Coordinate with authorized examiner to schedule statutory inspections of equipment as well as ensure all necessary documentation and records are prepared and available for the examiner and verify that all inspection activities comply with relevant statutory requirement and standards
• Investigate, analyze and determine root-cause of any failure or inherent defect in equipment/piping to make recommendations for alleviating the condition or solving the problem
• Responsible as the unit inspector for assigned unit and when necessary, assist or work in any other process units, Utility or Offsite areas

• Degree in Mechanical or Materials Science Engineering
• At least 4 years' relevant experience in inspection of fixed equipment, failure analysis of material preferably in the oil refinery/petrochemical or related industries.
• Possess at least API certifications 510 and 570 with preferably API 653 and AWS/CWI or equivalent, or NDE ASNT or PCN level 2 certifications.

• Competence in Risk Based Inspection
• Familiar with relevant codes for Flanged connections (in terms of gaskets, bolting torques)
