GENERAL OVERVIEW

As part of the Instruments, Control and Electrical (ICE) team, the Engineer (Electrical) plays a key role in providing maintenance and technical support at the LNG terminal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, reliability, and safe operation of all electrical systems within the terminal, from the perspective of the electrical discipline.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support maintenance activities and reliability improvement initiatives for electrical systems and equipment including ACMV, Motors, CCTV, etc
• Develop and implement reliability programs and preventive maintenance procedures to ensure consistent and efficient maintenance of electrical assets
• Plan and execute minor capital (CAPEX) electrical projects in accordance with company guidelines and engineering best practices
• Investigate electrical equipment failures or malfunctions to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive measures
• Provide electrical engineering support for major terminal expansion projects, ensuring alignment with operational requirements and system integration

 REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Electrical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Sound technical knowledge on high and low voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, protection relays, load flow, fault level analysis, arc flash
• Familiar with networking concepts and how electrical control system interface with Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
• Aware of industry standards and codes (e.g., SS 638, IEC, IEE)
• Knowledge of Python programming and machine learning applications in engineering (e.g. predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, data analysis) is highly advantageous

GENERAL OVERVIEW

This position is part of the site Mechanical team that provides technical/maintenance support to the Operation and Project teams in SLNG Terminal. He/she would be mainly responsible for overseeing the safe and reliable operations and maintenance of the Terminal assets from the Mechanical discipline perspective.

Selected candidates will undergo a one (1)-year On-the-job (OJT) training program within functional team to be equipped with necessary LNG Terminal maintenance skills and knowledge. He/she will be placed in varies roles shadowing, mentored and coached from experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME). 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical/maintenance support and solutions to the terminal operation Teams including supporting the development of maintenance strategy focusing on equipment reliability, spares inventory, preventive and predictive maintenance programmes and mechanical maintenance procedures for mechanical equipment.
• Be involved in Pre-work plan analysis and population of Maintenance plans into SAP; this will entail shadowing Planners to understanding maintenance scheduling and maintenance KPI.
• Facilitate the daily task assignment process within the operation to ensure compliance to safety, health and environmental rules/regulation/policy with respect to safety, hazardous substance/flammable material management and permit to work systems    
• Working with a team of Subject Matter Expert (SME) to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and replacement of mechanical equipment and piping systems such as cryogenic pumps, Marine Loading Arm, BOG Compressor, pressure vessel, ACMVs and etc.
• Shadowing Supervisor to manage the in-house contractor and OEM vendor to execute mechanical work/improvements within the terminal to ensure safe work execution and not affecting gas supply reliability.
• Participate in root cause analysis on equipment failure and provide recommendations to resolve technical issues which may also arise from vibration, oil and other analysis as part of predictive maintenance programmes
• Manage and maintain historical information on static and rotating equipment such as running hours, performance data, Mean Time between Failures (MTBF) and incidents for mechanical systems.  
• Participate in technical discussions, execute and manage project schedules and cost and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders, vendors for end of life and improvement project using SLNG Management of Change (MOC) process for mechanical equipment
• Participate actively in all continuous improvement projects related to safety, reliability and quality. Explore and evaluate emerging technologies in the market for potential application.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant Engineering/Technical disciplines 
• Candidates with professional accreditation or affiliation to professional bodies of engineers will have an added advantage

Job Summary

You will support daily construction activities by coordinating with the Project Manager, managing materials on site, leading the works team, and ensuring accurate reporting to maintain smooth project progress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities to ensure timely progress and adherence to project plans
• Communicate daily tasks and updates clearly to the Project Manager
• Write and submit detailed daily reports documenting work progress and site conditions
• Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels of materials used on site to prevent shortages
• Follow up on material requests and ensure timely delivery for uninterrupted site operations
• Lead the works team to execute tasks according to Project Manager instructions, ensuring quality and safety standards are met

Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and reliable Senior Desktop Engineer to support and deliver end-user and infrastructure-related projects across desktop, server, backup power, and network environments. The role involves device configuration, patching, deployment, technical refresh, migration, troubleshooting, and operational support for IT systems including servers, UPS, backup solutions, switches, firewalls, NAS, and wireless access points.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical experience in infrastructure deployment and support, with the ability to work independently, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure smooth project execution with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration, deployment, and support for IT infrastructure devices and systems.

• Manage and support servers, UPS, backup systems, switches, firewalls, NAS, and wireless access points.

• Execute device patching, firmware updates, OS upgrades, and security updates in accordance with maintenance schedules and policies.

• Support technical refresh, migration, relocation, rollout, and replacement activities for infrastructure and end-user environments.

• Conduct troubleshooting, fault isolation, and issue resolution for hardware, software, network, and connectivity problems.

• Assist in system commissioning, testing, and validation to ensure successful deployment and handover.

• Perform preventive maintenance and health checks for infrastructure devices and network equipment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in desktop/infrastructure support, deployment, or project implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of backup software, virtualization, and storage environments is an added advantage.
