Key Responsibilities

• Lead workshop operations through proper planning, scheduling, and decision-making.
• Manage projects including planning, coordination, and supervision of project activities.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers regarding project matters.
• Perform electrical and mechanical testing on stators, rotors, and related components.
• Measure winding data and record inspection details accurately.
• Source and procure equipment and parts required for projects.
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.
• Prepare project reports upon completion of each project.
• Assist with administrative tasks and documentation.
• Support productivity improvement and cost control initiatives.

• Diploma or ITE qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in motor and generator servicing.
• Knowledge of motor and generator rewinding and maintenance works.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Department: QC Department (MES-Tuas)

Report to: Evaluation Section

Functional Relationships with: To support evaluation section and work closely with engineer to ensure smooth operation of test laboratory and product reliability/safety evaluation to achieve design change qualification and product reliability

POSITION PROFILE:
Based in: Singapore
Job site: Tuas
The successful candidate will collaborate and participate in operation improvement activities with operation members

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan and conduct reliability/safety tests and evaluation to qualify, improve or evaluate the products.

• Design and fabricate fixture required for product under test.

• To write and file test reports per requirement.

• To write and update SOPs and procedures as required by relevant test and equipment.

• Daily operation of test laboratory.

• Maintain all laboratory equipment in good working condition order.

• Ensure maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment are carried out in accordance schedule.

• Monitor and maintain of inventory.

• To ensure good housekeeping of the test laboratory.

• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

ABILITY/COMPETENCY REQUIRED:

• Diplomas in Mechanical / Electronics / Electrical engineering with relevant experiences.

• Experience with lab operation.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office application.

• Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision on a tight schedule.

• Able to do overtime when necessary.

• Knowledge of Visual basic application / International battery regulation will be an advantage.
