Roles and Responsibilities: 

• Carrying out design engineering for foundation, steelwork, and RC structures. Provide design sketches and reports required for schematic, design development, and constructions phases of projects. 

• Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis as required for statutory submission. 

• Preparation of structural briefing, specification documents, and tender documents. 
• Providing construction support by reviewing technical queries, resolving site issues, and ensuring structural design intent is implemented during construction.

About You: 

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent recognized by the Board of Engineers Singapore.   

• Minimum 7 years of relevant design experience in a consultancy environment.

• Proficient in 3D design programmes i.e. Robot, TSD, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, SAFE etc. 

• Experience in the design and coordination in high rise/institutional/healthcare/industrial buildings 

• Experience in concrete and structural steel structures design 

• Familiar with local permitting and submission requirements 

• Those with knowledge of Euro code design, excellent basic knowledge with hands on experience in FEM analysis and BIM integration is preferred

Ideal Systems is seeking an experienced and driven BIM Engineer to support and standardize our drafting and BIM practices across our Southeast Asia operations. This role will play a key part in establishing consistency, improving efficiency, and supporting regional expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standardized title blocks for all drawings across Ideal Systems offices in Southeast Asia
• Establish and enforce standards for logos, legends, drawing numbering, and naming conventions across all projects and drawings

Job Description

• Lead and support a manufacturing team of CVD, PVD and CMP Associate engineers (AE) to manage section daily production operations to meet Fab delivery requirements.
• Work with AEs to plan out manpower cross training to increase shift deployment flexibility.
• Engage direct reports AEs/specialists regularly to feedback on performance as well as understand difficulties faced & identify potential areas for improvement.
• Daily close collaboration with CVD, PVD and CMP engineering and equipment counterparts to maximise tool output and efficiency performance.
• Co-work with production control and capacity team to improve section delivery performance.
• Execute continuous improvement and quality programs in manufacturing operations
• Cultivate good 5S and safety mindset in daily work environment
• Strive for zero miss-operations in all aspect of workscope
• Identify potential human error issues in the fab and work on CAPA
• Prepare and present daily production indices in module meetings and highlight key priorities for the Engineering team to focus.
