Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Engineer with up to 3 years of experience in a design consultancy office. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. You will contribute to detailed structural design and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed design of structural steel, reinforced concrete, piles, foundations, deep excavation/ERSS, water reticulation, and civil infrastructure projects
• Prepare and draft technical documentation including calculations, specifications, and reports to support design decisions
• Coordinate effectively with clients, authorities, drafters, and contractors to ensure project alignment and compliance
• Apply first-principle engineering knowledge to verify software results and perform manual calculations such as shear, moment, torsion, and effective length determination
• Utilize Microsoft Office and CAD software to produce design deliverables and documentation
• Design structural elements in compliance with Eurocodes to meet regulatory and safety standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Operate engineering software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, and PLAXIS to enhance design accuracy and efficiency

Assistant Engineer

We are looking t o employ Assistant Engineers with contemporary engineering skills in structural and/or geotechnical disciplines, that they are interested to apply to a wide variety of projects.

Basic requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent,

• Knowledge of geotechnical analysis software and/or structural analysis software will be an advantage,

Familiarity with the application of AI to workflow

• Ideally around 1-2 years civil design experience with either a contractor or a consultant, though fresh graduates will be considered for starter positions

• Varied years of experience can be accepted; as long as you fit then we can place you in a position to suit your experience

Job Description

• Develop detailed radio frequency (RF) translation plans and system architectures
• Evaluate key performance parameters such as gain, noise figure (NF), signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), dynamic range, linearity, and power consumption to ensure a robust and predictable design
• Collaborate with CAD engineers to drive PCB implementation, with a focus on clean power supply design, interconnect integrity, EMI compliance, and RF transmission performance
• Participate in design reviews and prepare comprehensive documentation across all stages of development, from concept to final prototype testing and characterization
• Perform parametric evaluation of transceivers, including Pout, IMD/IP3, EVM, and noise parameters using spectrum analyzers and modulation analyzers
• Conduct wireless link-level functional evaluations to complete product characterization
• Work closely with product engineering teams on certification processes, new product introduction (NPI), and Transfer of Technology (ToT) for high-volume production

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Communication Engineering, Digital Communication Engineering, or a related field
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience in the design and integration of RF, analog, and mixed-signal blocks such as power amplifiers (PA), low-noise amplifiers (LNA), mixers, frequency synthesizers, filters, couplers, detectors, and microcontrollers
• Solid understanding of deriving specifications from system-level requirements
• Experience with CAD tools and familiarity with evaluation workflows and RF test equipment for performance validation
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for test automation are an advantage

Responsibilities:
Mechanical Drafter (Entry Level)

• Report directly to the R&D Manager.

• Design and develop manufacturing drawings for electrical switchboards.

• Prepare and assemble modular drawings based on panel design specifications.

• Conduct calculations, heat loss analysis, and airflow simulations as required.

• Generate Material Order Lists (MOL) for mechanical components.

• Liaise with vendors regarding material specifications and enquiries.

• Collaborate closely with the Manufacturing and Production teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Mechanical Engineer (Draft & Design) - Junior Level

• Execute mechanical design and engineering tasks, including the preparation of detailed production drawings, shop drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM) using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit (BIM).

• Develop, evaluate, and refine mechanical system layouts and design concepts to ensure compliance with functional, safety, and project requirements.

• Create and maintain coordinated Revit (BIM) models and AutoCAD drawings, ensuring proper integration with other disciplines.

• Prepare and verify as-built drawings based on site installation feedback, and conduct site visits when necessary to ensure engineering compliance.

• Collaborate with project engineers, sales teams, consultants, and contractors to address design, technical, and constructability challenges.

• Communicate with clients and consultants to ensure alignment with project specifications, regulatory codes, and industry standards.

• Contribute to design coordination meetings, technical reviews, and project discussions by providing professional engineering insights and recommendations.

• Be prepared to travel (including to Malaysia) and work overtime when required by project schedules.

• Undertake additional engineering and design-related responsibilities as assigned by the reporting manager.
  

Requirements:

• Nited/ Higher Nitec/ Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Knowledge in BIM, VertexG4 and AutoCAD M&E 3D drawings

• Relevant experience in mechanical design, engineering, or industrial systems will be a plus

• Experience with generator enclosures, exhaust systems, ventilation, piping, or other industrial equipment will be an advantage.

• Entry levels are welcomed, as training will be provided
