Role Description:

• Information delivery & analytics. State-of-the-art expertise across, Large Language Model (LLM) Integration, prompt engineering strategies and templates, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and agentic system etc.

As a VP, SRE Engineer (Splunk), you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise observability and reliability solutions across infrastructure and application domains. You will leverage Splunk and complementary monitoring platforms to drive proactive alerting, automation, and resilience - ensuring operational stability, risk control, and compliance with financial regulatory standards.
You will define and implement advanced SRE frameworks, establish Site Reliability metrics (SLOs, SLIs, Error Budgets), and build automation pipelines that enhance system reliability, reduce Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR), and strengthen overall operational resilience across the organization.

What will you do as a VP, SRE Engineer (Splunk)?

Observability Engineering & Governance

• Architect and maintain enterprise SIEM solutions aligned with operational resilience mandates (e.g., MAS TRM, DORA, APRA CPS 230).
• Lead deployment, configuration, and optimization of Splunk for full-stack visibility across infrastructure, applications, networks, and user experience.
• Define and enforce telemetry data governance standards—metrics, logs, and traces—ensuring consistency, retention compliance, and security.
• Integrate Splunk with incident management, ITSM, and AIOps systems to enable predictive alerting and anomaly detection.

Reliability Engineering & Automation

• Implement and champion SRE frameworks and reliability practices for mission-critical systems.

• Drive reduction in incident recurrence, MTTR, and manual intervention through observability-led automation.

• Develop and maintain executive dashboards and reports showcasing availability, reliability KPIs, and operational risk indicators.
• Provide technical leadership during major incidents, post-incident reviews, and audits, ensuring lessons learned are codified into automation and process improvements.

What makes you a successful candidate?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or SRE roles, with at least 5+ years specializing in SIEM/Splunk engineering or observability in financial or regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

Capacity Planning & Management

• Plan and manage data centre and network room capacity covering space, power, and cooling.
• Develop short‑, medium‑, and long‑term capacity forecasts based on IT demand and growth projections.
• Support phased load planning (e.g. IT load ramp‑up by phase).

Infrastructure Assessment

• Evaluate electrical infrastructure including UPS, transformers, PDUs, generators, and redundancy (N, N+1).
• Assess cooling infrastructure such as CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, and cooling towers to support projected IT loads.
• Identify capacity constraints, single points of failure, and mitigation options.

Design & Setup

• Support data centre and network room design, layout, and rack planning.
• Review and validate load calculations for electrical and cooling systems.
• Ensure new deployments align with data centre standards and best practices.

Tools & Inventory

• Maintain accurate capacity data in DCIM and asset management tools (e.g. Nlyte, Remedy).

Governance & Operations

What will you do as a Platform Engineer (Digital Enterprise Solutions)?

As a highly skilled Platform Engineer who support and enhance our Enterprise Service Management (ESM) platform, you will be able to:

• Technical Proficiencies:Develop and support the implementation of the ESM platform modules that meets the business requirements while ensuring alignment with security, development, and coding best practices.Oversee the technical design, configuration and customization of the ESM platform and its various modules including ITSM, HR, Workplace Management, Risk Management, IT Security Operations etc.Develop technical integrations using REST, SOAP, JSON APIs to ensure seamless operation of the ESM platform.Develop custom scripts and code to extend the functionality of the ESM platform.Plan and manage the technical tasks and schedules to ensure high quality and timely delivery throughout the implementation lifecycle.Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operational procedures for the ESM platform.

What makes you a successful candidate?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Generate weekly reports to analyze DC infrastructure demands in the APAC region.
• Download and analyze the infrastructure demands provided by the Project Manager, and follow up with requestors to rectify them as per the corresponding comments/shortfalls raised.
