OBJECTIVES (GOALS)

Your key responsibilities to support the overall manufacturing business through the development of precision complex machining, tooling and NC programming design, conducting process reviews, overseeing various aspects of engineering processes, and performing cost analysis related to machining manufacturing.

This role requires an understanding of the entire machining process, from interpreting engineering drawings to estimating production hours and optimizing efficiency.

DUTIES

· Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements and ensure compliance with

technical specifications and quality standards.

· Ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards. Monitor machining processes.

· Provide technical reviews for machining and tooling design in precision machining.

· Analyze current production processes and identify areas for improvement.

· Assist engineers in the design and development of precision engineering components and systems.

· Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.

· Monitor project progress and report any issues to the engineering team.

· Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

REQUIREMENT

· Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Mechanical / Precision Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.

· Proficiency in CAD software (MasterCAM, SolidCAM, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools is an

advantage

· Experience with production planning, quotation preparation, and time estimation.

· Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and equipment.

· Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

REPORTING

This position reports directly to Head of Engineering

• Responsible for the preparation of monthly utilities and plant related reports to be submitted to Finance and Corporate Office (Singapore)
• Responsible to ensure that all building related systems’ operations maintenance are carried out based on schedule and proper records are kept and follow up in a routinely manner
• To analyze log sheets and if necessary prepare design, analysis, recommend, and implement project based on the operation requirements
• To ensure the housekeeping of plant room, recommend necessary upgrading and supervise repair works from time to time
• To guide, train and supervise team and ensure proper maintenance are carried out to ensure economic and safety operation of equipment
• Project management including co-ordinating with M&E consultants, Architects, QSs and Project Managers to ensure that project is well executed to hotel requirement
• Lead team to support the day to day operational needs of the Hotels
• Manage and oversees properties as assigned in the role of clustering to ensure properties in-charge are well taken care of

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement QAQC procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and quality audits.
• Ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality records.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and corrective actions.
• Attend site meetings and quality reviews.
• Monitor testing and commissioning activities.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of QAQC experience in construction projects
• Experience in: Building construction, M&E works, Infrastructure projects, Quality inspections and testing. Managing subcontractors and site quality issues

Responsibilities:

• Site planning, inspections and coordination with consultants, subcontractors & clients on M&E requirements and specifications

• Plan, monitor and ensure work-in-progress at site are on schedule

• Coordinate for submission and approval, all drawings, samples, coordination drawings and supervision

• Identify discrepancies, assess, and recommend M&E Subcontractors’ claims

• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum 2 to 3 years construction trade experience

1. Coordinate production workflow for one or more product

2. In-charge of production planning and determine manpower, machines and materials needed to cover production

demand

1. Candidate should possess at least a Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree preferably in Precision Engineering, Material

Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

2. Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles

3. Must have an in depth knowledge of those machining processes like, conventional Milling, Wirecut, Grinding, CNC

Milling, etc.

4. Minimum 3 years of hands-on machine working experience in related field will be an added advantage.

5. Self-motivated and able to take creative and structured approach to problem solving activities and business

development

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

7. Good command of both spoken and written English language

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor the functioning of all equipment and report any problems or substandard condition to the supervisor.
• Ensure all log books are maintained according to standard operating procedures.
• Perform equipment assembly according to engineering drawings and guidance from engineers.
• Perform cleaning of all parts as per established cleaning procedures.
• Perform pre-assembly activities such as cleaning and lubricating.
• Conduct product testing and performance testing and record the results.
• Perform final checks and adjustments for any defects to ensure high quality products.
• Perform installation, repair, inspection, reassembly, replacing, refitting, and adjusting products as required.
• Order and stock materials and supplies to avoid materials shortages.
• Receive, unload, unpack and transfer materials to different work stations.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid any breakdowns and failures.
• Maintain work area to be clean, safe and orderly.
