Tired of night shifts and 5.5-day work weeks in hospitality or retail? We hear you. Join our dental clinic as a Front Desk Receptionist and enjoy a genuine 5-day work week with regular day hours. This is a primarily administrative role — scheduling, billing, claims, records — with the added satisfaction of supporting patient care. Your organisational and customer service skills are exactly what we need. 

What You Will Do 

• Coordinate patient appointments and manage the clinic’s daily schedule efficiently 

• Process payments and manage billing, including dental claims via CHAS, Medisave, and insurance portals 

• Maintain accurate clinic records and ensure timely submission of reports 

• Manage office supplies, dental product inventory, and stationery 

• Be the welcoming face of the clinic: greet patients, handle walk-ins, and respond to enquiries by phone and email 

• Perform other administrative duties to support smooth clinic operations 
  

What You Need 

• Diploma or degree in any discipline 

• Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional manner 

• Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning new systems 

• Able to work rotating shifts including at least one weekend day 

• Previous experience in hospitality, retail, admin, or customer service is a strong advantage

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Process guest check-ins and room assignments following the hotels' rate structures, discounts and sell/upsell strategies. Accommodate special requests when possible.

- Process check-in/check-out including luggage assistance and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card processing and accounting policies and procedures.

- Answer inquiries about hotel services, in-house events, directions, local attractions, etc. Assist guests with safety boxes, additional guest room keys, transportation, etc.

- Pre-register, block reservations and, as appropriate, take same day and future reservations. Cancel room reservations according to policies and procedures.

- Perform night audit during midnight shift and prepare necessary reports.

- Handle any Marriott-related enquiries.

- Ensure release of any Company, hotel, brand and guest information is consistent with privacy policies, practices and regulations.

- On time and at work when scheduled and in proper uniform.

- Attend department meetings as scheduled.

- Consistent professional and positive attitude and actions when communicating with guests and associates.

- Flexibility to work in other positions/deaprtments as the need arises.

- Comply with policies and procedures. Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitary, safety, security and emergency procedures.

- Write shift reports including reports on any incidents of theft, accidents or injuries when assigned.

- Check with manager / supervisor before leaving work area for any reason.

- Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. Participate in task forces and committees as requested.

Requirement

• Prior experience in customer service or receptionist role, preferably in high-end beauty / salon industry.
