As an Assistant Manager/ Senior Executive, you will be part of the team in supporting the development and implementation of Advanced Care Planning and the Palliative Care sector in Singapore:

• Work with policy makers, community stakeholders, including service providers and hospitals to drive the development and implementation of the ACP programme; development and implementation of the National Strategy for Palliative Care including involvement in palliative care related pilot programmes, service models and funding policies that support, management of capability and capacity and enablers in the ecosystem.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in any field with at least 3 years of working experience in service planning and development in the healthcare or social care industry
• Experience in planning, project management in the public sector would be advantageous
• Experience in IT project management would be advantageous
• Systems thinking, resourceful
• Excellent written and persuasive communication skills
• Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical capabilities, coupled with basic skills in data analysis and statistics

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend to patients’ enquiries and guide them through healthcare processes.

• Provide assistance such as wheelchair support when required.

• Identify and assist fall-risk patients; perform basic screening such as temperature checks and mask distribution.

• Assist with basic measurements (e.g., height, weight, blood pressure) when required.

• Support wayfinding and handle general enquiries.

Scope:

Nursing Aide

Role Overview

You will play a supporting role in the daily operations of Ihsan Kidney Care dialysis centres by assisting the clinical team in delivering safe, compassionate patient care, while ensuring dialysis equipment and the treatment environment are prepared, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Care Support

• Support nurses in carrying out patient care activities before, during, and after dialysis treatment.

• Assist with basic patient assessments, including observing vital signs, fluid status, and general patient comfort.

• Provide hands-on assistance for patients’ personal care needs, including mobility, hygiene, and positioning during treatment.

• Observe patients closely during dialysis sessions and promptly highlight any unusual symptoms or concerns to the nursing team.

• Assist during dialysis procedures such as cannulation preparation and needle removal, under supervision and in line with centre protocols.

• Respond appropriately during dialysis-related incidents or emergencies by following established procedures and escalating to nursing staff immediately.

2. Equipment and Environment Support

• Prepare dialysis machines prior to treatment, including setup and priming, in accordance with operational guidelines.

• Carry out cleaning and disinfection of dialysis machines, equipment, and treatment areas after each session.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly dialysis environment at all times.

• Report equipment faults, abnormalities, or safety concerns promptly to the relevant personnel.

• Assist with stock management by monitoring consumables and supporting inventory replenishment.

• Support the handling and organisation of dialysis-related supplies and medical materials.

3. General Duties

• Carry out additional duties as required to support the smooth operation of the dialysis centre.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Credentials

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level qualification, or a relevant healthcare support certificate.

Professional Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare or clinical support setting is an advantage

(b) Supervise students in their daily homework and plan and carry out assessment work after school homework

(c) Carry out and instil daily routines in children during eg meal/fetching times

(d) To assist Supervisor/Snir Teacher/Teachers to prepare learning materials and conduct age-appropriate programmes for in-house and outing during school holidays.

2. Counselling and Guidance

(a) Provide a positive learning environment and ensure the well-being and safety of the children  

(b) Maintain respect and order in the Centre and during outside activities

(c) Liaise with Supervisor/Snr Teacher/Teachers concerning the learning and development of the children

3. Preparation of Environment

(a) Prepare and carry out lessons according to the Centre’s programme guidelines

(b) Encourage students’ participation in activities

(c) Implement creative ideas, engaging activities, and stimulating lessons

(d) Maintain safety and security rules and practices including fire drills, evacuation exercises, first aid training, safety patrols etc

General (20%)

1. General Administrative Duties eg assisting the Centre Supervisor/Senior Teacher:

(a) In marking students’ attendance and work.

(b) Disseminating and collecting information, official forms issued by the authorities and the Centre, indemnity forms for holiday/extra-curricular activities etc

(c) Working as a team in implementing improvement and innovation in the operations of the Centre
