Role : Customer Service Executive
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
$3500 to $4000 + VB
Work location: Jalan Bukit Merah
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure timely and accurate handling of cargo, conduct billings input, statement reconciliation and payment/outstanding collection
2. Liaise with shipping lines, ground handling agents, and other service providers to secure cargo space and negotiate rates
3. Prepare and process airway bills, shipping documents, and customs clearance paperwork in compliance with regulations
4. Resolve customs clearance problems or transportation disruptions
5. Ensure adherence to safety and security procedures in the handling and transportation of ocean cargo
6. Maintain accurate records of shipments, expenses, and operational activities for reporting and analysis
7. Monitor schedules, track shipments, and provide regular updates to customers regarding the status of their cargo
8. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in implementing new technologies or systems to enhance efficiency
9. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to optimize air freight operations
