Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for users’ desktops, laptops, system/OA software, NAS, printers/MFP, backup facilities, and other related IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot computer network issues in a Windows domain environment, including TCP/IP, Active Directory, Wireless AP, Firewall, Router, and Switch.
• Set up and administer corporate email systems, including Exchange Server, Outlook, and Mobile ActiveSync.
• Perform system administration for various servers.
• Maintain hardware and software inventory records.
• Review, recommend, and implement IT initiatives to improve IT operations.
• Supervise contract workers and conduct outdoor site surveys across areas such as telecommunications, machinery, networking, IoT, and other IT equipment.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

·      We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Helpdesk Support Professional to provide technical assistance and support to end users experiencing software and application-related issues. 

·      The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting abilities, effectively manage support tickets, and ensure timely resolution of incidents while adhering to defined SLAs and KPIs. 

Key Responsibilities 

·      Provide first-level technical support for software and application-related issues. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents raised by end users. Log, track, prioritize, and manage tickets through ServiceNow or other ticketing systems. 

·      Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up to ensure timely closure. 

·      Communicate updates and resolutions clearly to users throughout the ticket lifecycle. Monitor and meet established service levels, KPIs, and response timelines. 

·      Document incidents, solutions, and workarounds accurately within the ticketing system. 

·      Support incident, service request, and problem management processes. 

·      Collaborate with internal teams to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement. 

·      Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and effective support. 

Required Skills 

·      Experience handling ticket management and escalations in a service desk environment. 

·      Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for application-related issues. Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools. 

·      Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and service request management. Experience working in SLA/KPI-driven support environments.

Primary Purpose 

The Desktop Support Engineer serves as the first point of contact for end users requiring IT assistance. The role is responsible for providing timely and effective desktop support services, resolving hardware/software issues, and ensuring compliance with IT operational standards and service level agreements (SLAs). 

The engineer will support daily IT operations across multiple locations and participate in rotational shift coverage to support business operational requirements. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide onsite and remote desktop support services to end users  

• Receive, prioritize, troubleshoot, document, and resolve end-user incidents and service requests within agreed SLA timelines  

• Escalate unresolved incidents to appropriate resolver groups or third-party vendors where necessary  

• Perform desktop/laptop imaging and re-imaging activities  

• Support device deployment, replacement, and technology refresh exercises  

• Conduct asset inventory verification and asset management activities  

• Update and maintain accurate incident and service request records within the ticketing system  

• Create, update, and maintain work instructions, operational procedures, and technical documentation  

• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational procedures  

• Provide support for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office 365 related issues  

• Support users across different customer sites and locations as required

  Work Schedule & Other Requirements 

  • Candidates will be required to work in Johor Bahru daily  

  • Open to commuting to different parts of Singapore and/or customer sites when required  

  • Role requires support coverage on a rotational basis from Monday to Sunday  

  • Working hours will be scheduled between 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM  

  • Engineers will be assigned rotating shifts based on operational requirements  

  • Candidate must be comfortable supporting a 24/7 operational environment, including weekends and public holidays where applicable
