About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Field Service Technician to support the servicing, troubleshooting, and repair of printers and copiers.

This is a hands-on, field-based role suitable for junior candidates and fresh graduates with relevant technical background who are keen to build a career in technical servicing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of printers and copiers
• Carry out carry-in product evaluation and servicing
• Travel to customer sites to provide on-site support when required
• Handle tools, materials, and equipment for effective service delivery
• Provide good customer service and support to users
• Complete basic service reports and documentation

Requirements:

• NITEC / Diploma in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer-related or equivalent discipline
• Fresh graduates with relevant technical background are welcome (training provided)
• Candidates with printer / copier servicing experience will be an advantage
• Comfortable with hands-on technical work
• Comfortable with travelling to customer sites
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Class 2B license / own motorbike is preferred (not mandatory)

Responsibilities:

• Oversees and executes repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting operations in both outdoor and indoor environments.
• When outdoor repairs are not required, tasks are performed within the company workshop.

Qualifications:

• Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with knowledge of AC & DC motors, single-phase and three-phase systems, lead-acid and lithium batteries, electrical control circuits, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in customer support.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Possession of a driving license will be an advantage.
