Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the Capesize broking team in the negotiation and fixture process by providing timely market intelligence and operational support.
• Monitor and analyze dry bulk shipping market activities, with a focus on the Capesize segment.
• Prepare and distribute daily market updates, including vessel fixtures, freight rates, and route-specific developments to brokers and clients.
• Maintain and update centralized market databases to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of information.

Detailed Day to Day task:

• Update and maintain daily records of Capesize fixtures and freight market developments across key trade routes.
• Compile and distribute morning market reports for brokers and clients.
• Support broker communications by preparing market updates and centralized data reports through internal communication channels.
• Ensure all market data, vessel positions, and cargo information are accurately maintained within internal systems.
• Assist brokers in distributing cargo and tonnage availability reports to targeted client groups.
• Follow up on vessel and cargo positions to ensure information remains current and actionable.
• Monitor market movements and provide relevant updates to support ongoing negotiations and commercial discussions.

Job Requirement:

• Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and identify key trends.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage routine, data-intensive tasks efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a professional approach to communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; knowledge of SQL or other data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

The role of the IT Support Engineer intern is essentially to assist in troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving technical problems, utilizing resolution procedures in schools assigned. Provision of professional and high level customer service ensuring unresolved issues and queries are promptly escalated as per protocol. 

Position Requirements

●    Management of IT incidents in the incident management system.

●    Act as a single point of contact from customers (internal staff) regarding IT issues via phone, email or in person.

●    Provision of professional and high-level customer service ensuring unresolved issues and queries are promptly escalated as per protocol.

●    Provide Level 0 /1 support all applications and infrastructure.

●    Upgrade PC hardware and software, including scheduled maintenances.

●    Assist to maintain inventory of equipment and software licences; update computers with latest service packs, patches and applications; prepare Service Desk reports to enable the IT operations to run effectively.

●    Managing the provisioning and de-provisioning process of school’s IT resources by engaging staff and students to ensure that device and get connected to the network and provide support data backup and recovery.

●    Managing classroom support for IT and Audio Visual (e.g. Apple TV, Projectors, Interactive technology, and applications)

●    Desktop operation system management and planning.

●    Administrative Support for Technology department (e.g. Department Information & Activities).

Qualifications:

●    Fresh graduates from the Post-Secondary Education Institutes (“PSEIs”), such as the Polytechnics and Institute of Technical Education.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management: Assisting with receiving, organizing, and tracking parts and supplies within the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

2. Data Analysis: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze data related to parts usage, demand, and availability.

3. Supply Chain Coordination: Supporting the coordination of parts movement across different locations within the APAC network and the MRO’s requirement.

4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate records and documenting transactions. (shipping invoices and AWBs)

5. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency in parts management.

6. Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues and the MRO Ops team and engineers for parts requirements.

7. Cycle count: Assisting with weekly cycle count to achieve a 99% accuracy on the SNG inventory.

8. Learning and Development: Gaining hands-on experience in parts logistics and supply chain operations.

9. Any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Education: Typically, interns pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field are eligible.

2. Attention to Detail: Being meticulous in handling parts data and documentation.

3. Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with various teams.

4. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.

5. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and propose solutions.

The International Relations Division (IRD) facilitates and coordinates engagements that strengthen Singapore’s judicial partnerships with international counterparts.

This role provides on-the-ground operational and logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of international engagements, particularly in the lead-up to the event. The officer will support day-to-day coordination tasks and assist the team in delivering high-quality engagements.

1. Logistics& Administrative Support

• Assist with preparation of materials for meetings and events (e.g. printing, packing folders, preparing name lists)
• Procure and organise supplies such as stationery and event materials
• Support scheduling and booking of transport, venues and related logistics

2. On-Site& Ground Support

• Provide on-the-ground support during visits and events, including registration, ushering and coordination
• Assist in receiving and accompanying guests (e.g. airport arrivals, transport coordination where required)
• Support set-up and tear-down of meeting rooms and event spaces

3.Coordination Support

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors to support logistical arrangements
• Assist in tracking simple tasks and follow-ups to ensure timely completion

4. General Support to IR Team

• Support ad hoc tasks as required during peak periods, especially for Bicentennial-related engagements
