About Restorative Care Department:

Restorative Care Department (RCD) was started in 2006, with one Family Resource Centre located within Prison Link Centre (Changi) specializes in serving offenders, ex-offenders and their families through a variety of programmes.

Case Management Services (CMS) was launched in 2019 to provide short-term case management for releasing inmates. Its objectives are to assist clients and their families with reintegration into society, offer individual support and guidance for transitioning back into the community, and address criminogenic needs to prevent re-offending and relapse.

• Update clients’ particulars and social report/review. Conduct casework evaluation, maintain case notes/documents.
• Person centred counselling for clients and/or families - counselling clients who suffer from poor mental health states and coping and adjustment difficulties in their transition.
• Risk assessment - assessing risk of self-harm and to others 
• Financial assessment and fund management and prepare periodic reports as required - identifying and referring cases for financial assistance (e.g. generate Means Test Subsidy Change Rate Report from MOH for invoices printing/Changed Subsidy report, IHDC Master
• Any other additional tasks assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work
•  1 - 2 years’ social work experience
• With social work experience in residential setting for the elderly is an advantage

Job Description

• Carry out routine maintenance, inspection and testing of LT electrical installations
• Assist LEW / Professional Engineer in switching operations of electrical panels
• Perform troubleshooting and rectification of electrical faults
• Conduct site inspections in compliance with EMA regulations and safety standards
• Attend to emergency breakdown calls and standby duties when required
• Prepare basic service reports, checklists and maintenance records
• Supervise and coordinate with subcontractors for maintenance works
• Ensure all work activities comply with workplace safety requirements
   

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Class 3 driving license preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices
• Training provided / With 1 - 3 years of relevant experiences
• Experienced in electrical design works (SLD, system study, Etap study, electrical protection system)
